Of the oboes Lefebvre has demonstrated, the 901 is definitely the most beautiful with the sweetest sound. Just gorgeous.

i have a old marigaux sml series wich i'm about to comletely overhaul.some say it wort a fortune but i'm not seling it although the patricola seems very apealing to me. anyone tried one so far?i'm really interested in knowing how good they really are. thanx,George

Too bad Marigaux doesn't make an Altuglass version of the 901...........But we can dream.

Non, j'ai profité que mon luthier exposait des instruments pour les jouer durant le récital ! Ce n'était absolument pas prévu !

Unfortunately, most of marigaux oboe is false tuned And beautiful sound doesn't much helpful.
