This most beautiful for oboe and orchestra has been attributed to so many composers ... let's appreciate it, value it and enjoy it and never mind about its paternity.
As An Oboe Player That Played That in a Concert... He Is So Good... I play on my oboe almost 2 and a half years and I'm 11 and half... I played cimarosa In a concert twice... And 300 People Were in the Concert... I love the oboe so much! It is the BEST instrument ever! From: Jonathan .z. (Israeli Oboe Player)🎶🎶🎶
Liz OGrady I think it was meant that it has a very free flowing sound. This is how I prefer to play this piece. IMHO, It's so much more beautiful with a more legato approach. It's often approached with a heavier baroque interpretation.
@@owlgoescocoo I agree that the first sonata is easy, but the rest are harder, and it's not just playing it correctly, but playing it with passion and expressions. With that being said most beginners can't put emotions in their instruments. I played cimarosa at the end of my music high school and I can assure I had some problems with certain parts even tho i was playing the oboe for 5-6 years.

Honestly? Another typically modern approach - in a a bad style. Of course, technically flawless, great show on stage, but music is totally overinterpretted and misunderstood. Phrasing is pretty much upside down and ridiculous. It lacks straightforward simplicity and sincerity...
