I looked at the 500 and it was too big. This one is more like the size of an Amazon Echo and the big plus is that I am sure it will have the wonderful clarity of all Bose speakers. Will definitely buy one as soon as they are available. 👍

should you just turn off the power switch whenever you want to turn it off or is there anither way to turn it off? (afraid doing so may damage the speaker just like pressing the off button on laptops and not shut down)
