‏Thanks for the great video, I put a gasket on the connection between the muffler and the exhaust pipe for a better sound. It can be said that this part of the exhaust is leaking now, will it damage the car engine in the long run or not?

Is there a way to test a muffler when it's off rhe car?
The cat failed on my 2018 Hyundai, but im also noticing exhaust leak marks out of the connection point where the muffler connects to the center muffler assembly.
Should i just just install the new cat/center assembly, leaving the muffler disconnected, test, then reattach the muffler and see how the car performs?

Does the card test also indicate a bad catty converter song with a pressure test? I realize the tapping sound from the card indicated misfiring, but I'm puzzled about the tapping card and restricted exhaust pressure.

tap your cat with a rubber hammer, if you hear a rattling your cat is bad......the card test shows a misfire in the engine, but any restriction in exhaust will show the same

Why would a 4 stroke engine benefit from back pressure? An engines just an air pump. How can any restrictions from intake or exhaust make it more efficient?

The engine tune relies on some degree of back pressure to push against in order to balance the gas pressure in the engine and maximise power and torque.

good day, sir. May I ask what type of back pressure gauge you are using? and what type of unit of measurement is that? Is it PSI or kpa? Im not sure and I am learning. I hope you will read this and answer my questions. Thank you so much.
