    I use mine both when camp in our tall teardrop trailer (very often) as well as on the back porch all the time. I use a solar battery (Bluetti) and bring a portable 120W solar panel too. I could use it indefinitely. Love it for grilling steaks, burgers and seafood and for smoking too. I use grill grates with mine.

    And still had 48% left on the battery pack generator.

      Thanks, Mark. When Asmoke asked me to make a video for them I really wanted to create some content that would be relevant to their target audience. Got one 2 moths ago haven't used since .. the auger feed system would not push the pellets through and eventually the fire went back into the hopper box. I had to shut it down and dump the pellets out into a fire pit. I did not use Asmoke pellets because they never came after I ordered them on face book. I used some pellets from Lowes . I liked this for my 5th wheel but you won’t be doing an overnight smokes without having to get up in the middle of the night. Just a little to small for me.
    I currently carry a ReqTeq Trailblazer and love it. The only drawback is it’s weight.

    Do you think the Jackery 240 would be enough for the Asmoke? The 500 seems like a little overkill for what I need.

    • @WeekendWarriorBBQ
      @WeekendWarriorBBQ  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just looked up the specs on the 240 and it looks like that will work. They say for the AC Outlet: 110VAC, 60Hz, 200W Continuous, 400W Max. When I tested this grill out, it never went above 180W. The 240 has a smaller battery so you wont get as much cooking time but it will work.

    • @wearthischaoswell
      @wearthischaoswell 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WeekendWarriorBBQ Yeah I had notice that it didn't top 180 which is why I asked :) I'm just camping for only a night with a bunch of vegetarians so I don't need to worry about pushing the limits of this thing. Thanks for your input!

      It will depend on the portable fridge but from the ones I looked at on Amazon the answer is yes. The fridge would have to plug in using the cigarette lighter option. You could also temporarily unplug the fridge while the smoker igniter is on

    I think you need to tell us how to read their pricing. I pulled the site and sticker shock $1,400,848 USD. Further in a side bar said grill and cover $229. Scrolling down there were other perks. But, they way it looked you were paying for goodies but no grill. Rather confusing Michael.

      Yeah that is their crowd funding page and that is how much they raised. If you scroll down you can pre-order a grill and cover for about $225. Once they launch their official online store I will update the link.

    Maybe you already know this, but for those of you just starting out....If you put any dishes or pans inside your smoker they're really hard to clean. The smoke adheres to the outsides and it is a chore to get off. I always wrap the outsides of my glass casserole bowls or cooking pans with foil. When you're done smoking, just take the foil off and everything will be nice and clean.
