Just noticed Amazon has an extension hose adapter which can be used with both of these. The convenience of the flashlight on the X8 is the selling point for me
I prefer the X8 due to the slightly larger battery, battery gauge on the LCD display, larger/brighter light, and the fact that I can attach/de-tach a longer hose, so I don't have to hold onto the unit while pumping air. I just checked Amazon and see that they have started to sell the X9 Pro, which addresses a lot of the concerns with battery gauge on display, larger/brighter light, and replaceable hose, so they may have watched and listened to your review. 🙂
Howdy Biker-Buddy next year is my 40 year anniversary of riding a bike, without an accident (touch wood) and am grateful for Your video, about Portable Tire 🛞 Inflator. Currently I own a foot and a hand pump, but it‘d be nice to use such an Inflator device every year before my "Pokey" (that’s what I call my MT 09 or FZ 09 as You folks call it in the WONDERFUL USA 🇺🇸) goes into hibernation over the winter months. Because the front tire is on the ground and therefore I inflate a half a bar more pressure into it. Regarding the very short connection tube, I wonder if it’s because of convenience and aesthetic reasons? Even though it‘d be AWESOME if it‘d be a foot or two longer, this however would make the look quite changeable, especially for such a small device, but that’s just a guess. I bought this product. When I received it it was missing all the accessories. Only the inflator included. I tried calling and emailing company with no response Sending back to Amazon.
That's what I had before these. I tried a few small ones like that, they all overheated very fast and were slow as molasses in comparison. Not to mention inaccurate gauges needing another gauge to check as you go.
Looks like it would be nearly impossible to connect to the stock inflator valve on the front wheel of my Yamaha FJ-09. I would challenge you to show a video of connecting the hose on FJ-09 or similar (FZ-07) front wheel!
But they changed the display and battery level and the air flow holes and they canceled the carrying bag in the x9 pro now here a year after this video
@@TwoWheelObsession LOL...there's a nice problem to have. Of course, assigning the 2nd car and 2nd motorcycle each to one of the other symbols and remembering which goes with which isn't much different than remembering which number goes with which. But those of us with only one of each type vehicle like the symbols.
Nice to hear your voice again!

Not sure if you mentioned it but does air leak out when you are connected and disconnecting the hose to the valve on a tire?
Can you demonstrate on an actual tire?

What I‘ve forgotten to ask: Have you had any experience with the X8 Mini version of the Fanttik?
If so, I‘d be happy to read Your assessment of it.

Ps: As soon as You’ve turned on the flashlight, the battery gauge went down, look like that’s what it needed to drop.

Needs a longer hose for sure.. I would go for the more compact one on a motorycle .. I have one with no battery and long cables now .
That's what I had before these. I tried a few small ones like that, they all overheated very fast and were slow as molasses in comparison. Not to mention inaccurate gauges needing another gauge to check as you go.
if it was a quick disconnect that would be a great adder
Exactly :)
Can you use it to just blow debris from under your seat when you vacuum the car? Is it possible to do that?

Watch the vid of the X8 where I did it on my FJR. th-cam.com/video/urfiDXmVCu0/w-d-xo.html
So what's the benefit of the new one? I missed that part i guess
If the one you have works, then probably none.
Good review! 👍
Harley makes a great extension hose for tire inflation; works very well.
They do have an extension for motorcycles.
You mentioned fanttik has more models coming. Where did you hear this? Any idea what they are?
They told me directly. Sorry, no further info yet
But they changed the display and battery level and the air flow holes and they canceled the carrying bag in the x9 pro now here a year after this video
This isn’t the x9 pro
@@TwoWheelObsessionoh yes it is, I own it myself
I mean the product I reviewed in this video. The pro didn't even exist when I did this vid.
It’s advertised to get up to 150psi the tires I have in mind for this is 110psi can it do it?
Obviously yes
Actually doing a preset for car tire, bike tire, etc is quicker to recall which preset is for which vehicle when symbols are used instead of numbers.
Not when the symbols don't match ;) I need two for each vehicle, but there's only one car, one motorcycle etc.

You misunderstand. Front and rear on most vehicles are different pressures. 2 per vehicle.
@@TwoWheelObsession Ah, I see...you want separate quicksets for front and rear tires of each vehicle. 👍
Welcome back. Are we going to see a new motorcycle revealing
I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING OR DO YOU STILL HAVE THE FJR 1300
The Fanttik X8 Apex is still the King of them inflators lol
Nice review is it made in china?
Weird, my X8 is longer and more square shape
We should be telling you: welcome back! Smoke some meat next!
for each tire you have to recharge it. and it's very slow.
and overpriced. who wants to pay $140 for this?
That is contrary to what he said. He said he could pump up multiple tires from flat and couldn't kill the battery.
