    I absolutely love your house! And your herb garden is so incredibly amazing! I love growing fresh herbs! I don't have a lot of time to keep up with them 😩 and I remember you using your herb boxes on your naked chef show! That was the best part!

    Great Jamie! I always kept my herbs on my balcony, it´s just great to come out, harvest some herbs and simply pimp your basic dishes x 10 ! So easy and so good. Love your inspirational attitude!
    You are one of the chefs I saw as a little kid and got me into cooking. Love it so much ever since :)

    Jamie I'm the same my back garden has loads of herbs growing I've also got 2 allotment sites as well so fresh veg just setting up a poly tunnel so can't wait so keep the recipes coming so I can try the produce out!

    I tried to grow a herb bed in my back garden...didn't get to sample any of them but the local slugs had a nice feast.

      I was worried about slugs so I have planted herbs in pots and put the pots on an old wooden bench seat. So far so good. Slugs obviously can't be bothered to climb.

      use old eggs shells to get rid of slugs in your garden

      Beer traps also work. Shallow dishes full of some crap beer, and they'll go in drink the beer and drown.

      get a hedgehog it'll glady eat all the slugs and won't touch your herbs.

      I keep my herbs in pots that i put on the window ledge of my kitchen.That way I always have easy access to them whenever I am cooking.

    Your herb garden is way better than mine but I would be lost without mine. Love a Flippin good herb garden nothing like fresh picked herbs.

    Same here. But I just have to have them steps away from the kitchen. And under eye, for bugs and watering.

    Have you ever seen the Tales of the Unexpected episode 'The Sound Machine'?
    Chives have feelings too, y'know. Also, can you please do a video of you maintaining your grass. You don't have to go all Titchmarsh, but some advice on growing some herb outdoors would very much be appreciated.

      Honestly, he doesnt respect that knife at all. Should never go around with a knife like that, always carry it with the tip down and away from your body. He even walks backwards...

    Herbs are so easy to grow all year long. I grow them in a window and transplant them out in the spring !!

      Interesting story. I live in Thailand and our maid is from Laos. When she was a young girl they used to harvest watercress on the sides of the river. They never are it and called it farang plant (foreigner plant) as foreigners were the ones who ate it. One day when I brought watercress home from the market she started laughing and told this story as she hadn’t actually ever seen a foreigner eat it and she couldn’t wait to tell everyone back home

    Jamie PLEASE can we have tips on how to grow herbs indoors? I've managed to keep things like Basil, Rosemary, lemon Thyme, coriander for about 2months and then they all seem to die off! I've almost given up but willing to give it another go as I love using fresh herbs in my recipes! :)

      I often find that my basil plants like a lot of water and direct sunlight. It also helps to trim the flower heads so more leaves can grow.
