i forgot to mention that. yes u can do that equilibrium is preference, i just like the long crit syn it provides which is good sometimes when u wanna unleash a full burst and dont want to waste time to reapply the synergy, also it looks cool af so bonus points for that
whole point of nightmare being good on gs is that when u go into boundless, u get ur skills back faster. with salvation, your downtime will continue to increase as the fight goes on, 5sec 10 sec 15 sec 20sec repeat, nightmare reduces this downtime making the apm higher
I think swapping to the spec ring like you mentioned would be a good idea maybe even an earring, rn you are overcapping your crit by a little over 2% on shotguns by default then an additional 7% when you have your crit circulate procced which is 33% of a fight meaning you have 109% crit for shotguns and 89% crit for rifles for 1/3rd of the fight and the rest of the time 102% shotgun 82% rifles, so those stats aren't getting full value as well as your bracelet is not getting full value however they still get some, with a spec ring it would be beautiful maybe even a spec earring. But at the end of the day not like it really makes that big of a difference
you can probably remove the galewind rune on target down all together... the rune only affects the time it takes to get into the shoot mode where you click to fire, it does not affect the time between shots. Even with a legendary galewind rune, i've only noticed maybe a 2-3 frame difference between the two. You can verify it yourself, but lustboy and atk did a co-op video where they show the difference, and there's a negligible difference. The option i usually go with is an overwhelm on last request, as it will account for a lot of your stagger. I'm sure there are better options too. Regarding nightmare, i believe averse did some testing into this, and it does not apply to us right now. It should be a bit closer once we get lvl 3 set bonuses for 12% atk speed from yearning, but it applies in addition to your support. You cannot really run nightmare comfortably if you have a pally support, since they do not have an atk speed buff. All the set ups for slinger are pretty close with maybe about a 1-4% difference in damage. It's really about uptime, and it's just more comfortable to get in your skills with the 10% atk speed buff from salvation, in addition to saving yourself from being gibbed from "taking a break". TLDR: preference is on the player. Grats on the 9 7 stone, i would really like to try to get one some day, but i don't think i have that kind of luck :D
Im pretty sure I read that your dps is actually higher if you you enter boundless with nightmare set because your attack speed and cooldowns let you pump out skills like crazy
I heard Nightmare set scales with your weapon power, the damage ceiling might be higher, but there are a lot of requirements that you need in order for Nightmare to play as comfortably as Salvation, you need to run life absorption, you need a support with attack speed buff (Bard and Artist), and you need a Wardancer or a Blade in your party for the attack speed buff, preferably FI and RE respectively for better up time. I wouldn't say boring, but those requirements can only be consistently achieved with a static, and the damage difference is there but it's not day and night. It's like designed for DPS goblins in a static.

Salvation does more dps as an all purpose set. Plus, why would you build a static around the GS doing damage when you could have a Surge or an Igniter player leeching your crit rate for their dps to overshadow you by far?

Have you tried nightmare with the highest teir of food the steak seems to keep my gs from ever entering boundless and I can spam skills like you were saying. Just wondering your input there I get salvation w/ no life absorb definitely feels nicer. But nice build one day I’ll get a 9/7 too.
when clown was end game i played a shit ton of nightmare , i wasnt using mana food tho, so i wasnt spamming my shit and played slow but i sometimes i had a remaining blade to give me atk speed which was nice, salvation is just nice , no need to need to min max your dmg and waste gold on mana food each pull.., maybe i try in the future if i get a perfect team comp

personally adre 1 cause i really like seeing my damage go crazy after boss is 50 % hp, but they are both very similar in dmg so it comes to down to prices and if u can ofc survive until the end of the fight and so as many snipes as possible xd
i play conv and judg watch lustboy video! you can proc the effect of these while being already in another stance, i mean you kinda have more control of when to proc that's the point, using the plasma bullet slow travel time + spiral tracker we all waiting to get the legendary quick recharge on dextrous shot that should complete the build with lv 10 cooldown gems that i have

in a nutshell tth is easier and less dmg, and peacemaker is harder, and more dmg more utility more fun . tth accessories are more expensive if u go spec but when you count tripods for peacemaker , since you need more it balances out on the expense

You can go for judgement on equilibrium and conviction on Spiral or Bullet rain. More or less 100% success rate.

If you switch to shotgun right after catastrophe, the crit rate will apply to the additional ticks from eternal calamity.
Do you lose sniper stance damage buff on the remaining catastrophe ticks though?

it works well with my lvl 10 cd gem and i do it like this if i know the fight will last 30-60 seconds
So there is nothing wrong with adding 1 swift ring? Not used to having no swift.
t bit lower dmg for more comfort, but i dont recommend if u wanna get mvp. salvation atk speed is more than enough

your build is totally fine man, but u can always upgrade it to ancient and add adrenaline 1 as level 1 if u have spare gold
With the other 3 points that you’re missing you can get quick step no?
