Kyoshi doesn't really see the difference. She would have done anything to save her people and protect the world. She was the most powerful and fearsome Avatar in terms of brute strength, which makes sense as an Earthbender. Unyielding justice.
Its Sokkas fault he lost the boomerang- he had the same amount of time to get it as the others did for their things. Aang and Katara arent less compationate to Sokka

I've never heard that. It's a fun episode and introduces a fan-favorite character, but there's many episodes in season 2 that most would consider better.

The next episode is considered by many as the best of season 2 or the entire series. It's certainly in my to 5 episodes.
