2005-2012 Nissan Pathfinder Rear Shock Replacement

What's up everybody!
This is a DIY how-to on replacing the rear shocks on a 2005-2012 3rd gen. Nissan Pathfinder. Torque Specs included.
*DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a Master Tech, just a long time wrencher.
Truck in video is a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD.

Wish mine came out that easy. I'm 2 ratchets, a breaker bar, and a milwaukee battery deep and it hasn't moved

Damn! Thats wild man. I would use heat! Heat always is a great persuader for stubborn nuts/bolts.

Used heat!!! Ended up getting it with the Sawzall. Bolt was rusted solid to the sleeve inside the bushing on both lowers.

Damn man! Thats wild. Sucks you had to pull the sawzall out, but sometime you gotta do what you gotta do!

What should I do if my bolt is really stuck on there? Should I cut it and buy a new bolt?

Do you have or tried a small propane torch? I would try to get it off with heat before cutting it off. Heat partnered with a big breaker bar or impact.

That’s a good idea I’ll try that! I bought some new bolts so if I ever have to replace them again I hopefully it will come off easier 😅
