I'm surprised at people who buy the latest iPhone for 1500 dollars and only charge it to 80% 😂. Usually new phones have a bigger battery on them, it holds a charge more, but the point of it all if you charge to 80% percent? And people who use 5 watt charger to keep from ruining the battery, you're ridiculous too. I personally use an iphone 15 pro max myself, I charge to 100, I use a regular 20 watt. I don't understand why pay so much money for a phone if you don't use it fully. By the way, before that was an iphone 12 pro max. Also used it, charged to 100, used a regular 20w. technicly speaking: yes, 30watts will heat your battery a bit more than 20w. Heat is the culbrit for battery health decline BUT the difference will be neglicable. Variables like ambient temp, case thickness, resting place while charging or usage while charging have a bigger impact on it
is it better to use the lowest possible charger overnight, like a 7 or 15 watt overnight as opposed to a fast charger thats 20 or 27 watts, will the battery health get worse if leaving the phone plugged into a fast charger overnight?
That's what I was thinking. It makes sense since you don't use the phone while sleeping and it takes around 4 hours to charge. Plus charging it slower might make the battery last longer.
Batteries are consumables, so they lose health. It's the same with android phones as well, but the good thing is there's no option to check battery health or charging cycles in android. Wire charging is better, and use ur phone. However, you don't think about battery. after 1 or 2 years, just spend 150 dollars and get a new battery from apple. That's it.🎉
This is the same question I had to watch this video but I also didn't get any answer? One of my friends has had an issue after charging from a different charger and phone has stopped charging, he has taken it to the Apple and they have said Macbook charger and iPhone chargers are fine with iphone but not all the other except the ones that they recommend.
I use the AOHI The Future PRO Creative Power Cable Set with 140W GaN+ charging block that says it could do up to 240 watts on a single port. But I use it for my MacBook Pro and IPhone 15 and the USB-A port for charging my MX Master 3 or Logi Craft keyboard. It’s perfect and the power output is future proofed so when I upgrade it will have plenty of power for years to come.

Hey which charger is more safe for iPhone 15 pro max battery life , 20 watt or the 30 watt charger ?
Use 5w with 80 limit when u charge overnight, and 20w is ideal
I like my 5 watt charger. It's not fast, but my iPhone 12 is not warm while charging
Who is better for battery life 20/30/35W??
20W
which phone got the warmest and which operated the coolest, thats a big factor for extended battery health, iphone batteries health are well know for not lasting too long over time, i woud recomend using the 5w or 12w to protect the health of the battery capacity, batteries degrade faster with heat
Well, I’m pretty sure the 15 Pro Max with USB-C could definitely charge more than 30 W at once because already from the 14 ProMax and all the ProMaxs before that people have seen that the ProMax with regular lightning when charging can use up to 27W. I believe in this and it shows because I have a 125W brick I’m pretty sure to charge my 15 ProMax when I need a quick charge when I need to go somewhere and also I used it to charge my MacBook Pro.
Its capped at 27w max even if you use a 30,40,100w charger on the 15 pro max.
@@armeliiito yes I know it’s capped and everything but in general, I would recommend a dirty white brick because like I said my 14 ProMax limited at that and there was proof because people use these LED displayed chargers but I swear with my 15 ProMax I feel like it charges way faster if I use my 125W brick compared to my 35W brick I don’t know if that’s the phone or the brick problem. It could be because the 35W brick is from Apple but I believe that my phone charges better with my 125W brick. But the 16 Pro Max is coming out. I already got mine on pre-order can’t wait to see how fast that charges.
5w is good for charging at night 👍🏼
Can you test old ipad eu plug charger I think it’s 18w it looks similar to 12w charger
WhT is the watt of the cable which comes in the box with apple 15pro
It can support every wattage that the iphone can handle, it all depends on the wattage of the charging brick not the cable.
Can I use the Ugreen 100W charger to charge my iPhone 15 Pro? Will it spoil the battery in the long run?
I use the ugreen 65w charger. The charger heats up quite a lot. The phone gets hot as well when compared to the 20w charger. I think it does affect battery in the long run.
Very Nice videos about iPhones . I really enjoy your videos about iPhones.
The software is lowering the voltage iPhone takes to prevent overheating.
Why 30W charger took longer than 20W charger?
I’ve read that some chargers will lower charging amps as phone battery nears 100%. Not sure about apple products
5:40 because 30W is the absolute fastest speed possible….😂
He already explan all that at the end of the video.
Great video… can wait for the iPhone 16 Pro Max version of this test. Also a MagSafe 1 vs 2 compared with both 20w and 3x watt charger or higher test with multiple iPhones.
Pro i have the orginal samsung 25 charger , is it good enough? and is it better than the anker , the same as apple's ? Do you recomend it
Yes
I have it too its great and high quality
I bought 15 pro max and bought 70w changer is good or bad?
I don't think it is good after some time it can damage your battery health yours should be on the fastest charger if you want to go with I charging is 25-30 watts 70 is too much
The max speed for the 15 pro is 27W. Even if you use a 200W, the phone will only draw 27W.
Can i use a 25w for my iphone15 For your information the 25wadapter is from samsung
Yeah
how many watt enough 15 pro charger
20w is good enough, I use a 20w charger everyday for my 15 pro and I’m still at 100% battery health since the launch of the phone
What is the cable attached with 5W charger and 12W charger?
The same
Belkin
which charger is suitable for iphone 15 pro max
20W
Is it safe to use MacBook 30 watt adapter to charge iPhone 15? Please advise.
yes
@@imohitsdangi thanks. I noticed it charges very fast. Hope that’s fine too.
@@aamirsheikh57 yep no need to be worry
But why my 15pro max too hot after using 20watt charger
Idk, mine is good. Maybe don’t use it while charging
I'm using a 25w samsung charger for my iPhone 14 pro and after 3 months my battery health is 98%. Is there anything wrong with charger? Should i only use apple charger?
It’s normal bro. I’m using original apple and my battery after 1 year is 87% 🤷♂️
@@carlosjr.2082 Charger w ?
@ 20w
I tried using Ugreen nexode 30W to my iphone 15 pro max, but it gets very hot. I use the ugreen adaptor plus 15 pro max cable. Is it safe?
Use Apple products to be on the safe side
Now with my iPhone 15 Pro Max supporting USBC, I use my Mcbook Air 35w adapter and cable :) With my earlier 13 Pro, I was always using MagSafe wireless with a 20w adapter
Oh god. I did the same exact thing, with disastrous results - even though I had cleared it twice with Apple.
@@peterbustin2683what was the result ?
@@Rahil.B I had to send it to Apple, who post out a box. They replaced the battery, 'back section' and 'camera modules', all within 5 days. Great service.
I have a lamp with usb and usb c port both run at 5V 2A 5W can I charge my 15 pro max on it without damaging my battery I want to slow charge over night
Am using my MacBook Air m2 adopter to charge my 15 pro max I really want to know if it is safe because they say limit is 20 watts.
It’s completely safe. The phone will only draw what it needs.
I’ve been using the Apple 5W block on every single iPhone generation since the get-go and my battery health stays 100% for an average of 11 to 13 months and yes I plugged it in every single day
I think you could achieve the same outcome by limiting charging to 70%
@@NPC123UHFor some reason only the 15 has 80% charge limit when they could’ve gave it to all of the phones with iOS 17
@@bigrunts9768it’s very simple to set up an automation that alerts the user when the phone reaches a certain percentage, both while charging and discharging. The inbuilt software cap for iPhone 15 is just a better version of what anyone can do. I have mine setup for 80% charged and 30% charge remaining. I also have an automation to speak battery level when disconnected from power, but I’m sure that won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
@@bigrunts9768it may be that the BMS of earlier models can’t support that feature, though I suspect they could.
The reality is that there are iPhone models that have iOS 17, but would not offer enough battery life for this feature to be a good experience for the user. I’d love the choice, but that’s not what the average Apple customer(or even the average person) cares about.
Do you charge it to 100% always?
I use the 5W charger for bedtime.
how do you do with the cabel? USB A to USC C is not available by oficial apple design
I use iphone 15 pro , charger recommen 30w or 45w ? Thankss🙏🏻
20W
In 3 years battery 82%, that was enough for me
Do a iPhone 14 Pro Max Charge Test Please 🙏.
My problem is heat, i use 25w usb c charging block and it gets hot enough to burn your hand with provided charging cable on my pro max. I may upgrade to ugreen 100w block to see if it will help.
i use Samsung EP-TA800 with apple usb-c to usb-c cable and it works perfectly fine! no overheating or anything! it charges the phone really fast. try to consider this one and not go overkill with 100w charger. samsung block is 25w btw😅
u said it cant take more than 25 watts but then why are 30 and 35 higher?
I already have the 35w charger, would it harm the phone at any given point if I use it?
Will the 30W drain my battery health more than the 20W?
technicly speaking: yes, 30watts will heat your battery a bit more than 20w. Heat is the culbrit for battery health decline
BUT the difference will be neglicable.
Variables like ambient temp, case thickness, resting place while charging or usage while charging have a bigger impact on it
CONCLUSION: JUST BUY 20W CHARGER FOR FAST CHARGING.
5 watts to preserve battery thank you
is it better to use the lowest possible charger overnight, like a 7 or 15 watt overnight as opposed to a fast charger thats 20 or 27 watts, will the battery health get worse if leaving the phone plugged into a fast charger overnight?
That's what I was thinking. It makes sense since you don't use the phone while sleeping and it takes around 4 hours to charge. Plus charging it slower might make the battery last longer.
Useful video..
Thank you for the video.
does fast charging ruin the battery by over heating or is this a myth?!? is wired charging better than magsafe? anyone let me know please!!!
That's it.🎉
difference between 12w and 20w is huge
when I'm not in a hurry, I use a 5W or a 12W. Otherwise it's a 20W. I have an iPhone 14 plus and an iPad Pro 2018.
CAN I USE MY MACBOOK CHARGER FOR MY 15PRO?
This is the same question I had to watch this video but I also didn't get any answer? One of my friends has had an issue after charging from a different charger and phone has stopped charging, he has taken it to the Apple and they have said Macbook charger and iPhone chargers are fine with iphone but not all the other except the ones that they recommend.
Which usb A to usb C charging cable do you recommend? does apple offer one or i have to go 3rd party?
Amazing information thanks!
It’s perfect and the power output is future proofed so when I upgrade it will have plenty of power for years to come.
please do ti with the base model 15
Interesting video idea
Pls try other fast charger also
Honestly I can see why Apple doesn’t put the wattage for charging for there phones higher because they want to keep the battery good for as long as possible plus they might not care that much about it
I have a 65W Apple Adapter which i am using for my laptop. Can i use the same adapter to my newly bought Iphone 15 pro Max ? Thanks from India ❤
not recommended it will ruin your battery health.
Which one Best? Please tell me
15 pro max

Great comparison and valid proof there's no reason to buy a new charger for your iPhone upgrade.
Please do a iPhone 14 Pro Max battery life test by itself.
for iPhone 15 Pro what WATT charger should I use
We miss : WhatsApp guys, this is UltimateiDevicevids and in this video we're going be doing...
I use a 5W charger overnight to preserve the battery health and my MacBook charger if I need a quick top-up during the day.
Bro forgot to mention that the 30 watt charger is gonna charge your phone at the maximum speed possible
2 hours to charge an iPhone in 2024 , bonkers.
I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max and using a Apple 20W
