@@j9186 That's absolutely true...I think the commercial image of an artist these days is what brings in all the money and the actual music makes next to nothing even if it's streamed all day everyday.To some degree it's always been one fueling the other but the balance has completely gone.I guess that's why the charts are filled with great looking, sharply dressed mundane sounding artists playing to 12 year olds.

It's certainly not one of my favourite songs but for some reason it's the one song more than any other I can think of that takes me right back to the 90s when I hear it, I think the nostalgia of it is why it's so incredibly popular
Yeah I first saw it on MTV. All I could think of was what an incredibly boring track and video. Later on I got to like the album and the song though but it was not instant like first time I heard something briliant.
I like Wonderwall but it's not my favourite, every now and again I play Whatever on a loop, or Live forever, Champayne Supernova and there's more, it's a pity, I wonder what music they could have given to the world if they only drank or smoked dope and stayed away from the coke. Coke writes sh*t music and generally makes a tense situation, EG a sibling rivalry, much much worse. Still thou, the best band of my generation and I really believe they could have been one of the best of all time.
@@thatisme3thatisme38 I don't know to be honest, but I don't think they had a raging sibling rivalry happening, Coke gives you too much of an ego, so you don't listen to advice or participate well in a collaboration which is what modern pop music is, it's a team effort. But that is just my opinion and I don't know how the others dealt with that, Noel is even a big ego without Coke and Liam seems just to be a nightmare with or without. Still my favourite band in my lifetime

I wouldn't put Wondrwall in my top 10 Oasis songs but I do believe Oasis are one of the truly great bands.
