A pleasant rural automatic crossing located a few miles north of Grantham, found near the villages of Barkston and Honington. It's one of many and numerous level crossings on the 'Poacher Line' which runs very flat and level between Grantham and Skegness, though trains on this date were only running as far as Sleaford due to engineering works between there and Boston, with another service being maintained towards Skegness. The road around the crossing is a little hilly, and a bush obscures the view of the back of one of the lights from one side, though it can be seen perfectly fine on the side it's designed to be seen on. Alarms here are significantly quieter than they are at the other nearby two around Honington itself.

Thanks! I love country crossings like this. Very pleasant location here. I saw that angle pretty much as soon as I'd walked up to the crossing, and knew I'd want to use ultra-wide for it straightaway.
