The Owl House Characters: Good to Evil
The Owl House is a popular animated series on Disney Channel, following the adventures of Luz Noceda as she travels into the Demon Realm, and trains under an outlaw witch named Eda (also known as “The Owl Lady”) to become a witch herself.
Throughout the series, Luz meets a large array of characters that live on The Boiling Isles through school and other adventures around the land, befriending some and becoming enemies with others. With the second special of season three on the horizon, we thought now would be a great time to rank those characters from those who are the most good to those who are just pure evil.

For me, the Collector isn't evil. However, due to having the mindset of a young child as well as God like powers, he can be terrifying. He's basically Owl House's equivalent of Grand Zeno from Dragon Ball Super.
That's actually a pretty good comparison. Though personally, I find the Collector less annoying than Zeno.
I'm Not sure if I would even put him after Terra. He's a child. What's her excuse.

17:06 Actually Hooty eating that letter could have been a blessing in disguise as it prevented King from meeting the Titan Trappers too soon. So that's a point in his favor.
Well, he didn't know that at the time, but it's more of a dumb oversight than anything else; he was purely focused on the bug crawling on the letter.

In the beginning, I was hoping Odalia Blight would have a “Moon Butterfly” arc where she wasn’t the best person, but in the end she was able to make up for some of her faults. Instead, she set herself up to be a power hungry business woman. Also, during The Collector’s reign, she doesn’t seem the slightest bit concerned as to whether her husband and children are safe. She is happy to let others suffer for her own personal, financial, social gain, and she better get karma’d before the series ends.
That seems to be close to Alador's arc, actually.

It was touching to see King send out his message. Also a few minutes before Eda found out she was a mother, she was going to sacrifice herself for Rein, which makes sense as to why she got so emotional. This part makes me think of Rose’s tape message in Steven Universe. I ship Hunter and Willow, I wonder how Raine would feel becoming a father to a young titan. It would be cool if there were a spinoff series about The Collector traveling the reaches of the wizarding worlds version of space on his star, just like Kirby.
Yeah, she realized that Raine was 100 percent right and that was finally going to have a legit son. That King wasn't ever going to leave her and forget about her, making become alone like she was before she met King. You can bet that if her motherly instincts are even half as strong as Lilith's aunt instincts. That Eda would make for one intense mama bear, er mama Harpy should anything threaten King and by extension Luz. (Which we already know how protective of Luz she is from both Season 1 and 2.)
So I got something I need help with. Me and my good friend have been working on something pretty grand the last few months:
A crossover fanfiction between the Owl House and Spider-Man. Basically what happens is during the very early half of Season 1, Peter and a group of his worst enemies get transported to the Demon Realm by a freak accident. There, Pete meets Luz and the rest of her friends as he teams up with them to fight his foes as well as theirs.
The problem is me and my buddy need another partner in the project. Someone who knows both Fandoms as well as someone who's great at drawing in Owl House style. If anyone's interested, feel free to reply.

I think Jacob would have been better as a good guy. Especially when the Hexside kids were stranded. Montage.....he would help with caring for them while they tell him about the Demon Realm and their magic. Also,a potential love interest for Camilla.🥰🥰🥰

@@crimsonmoonrise9785 That kind of sounds like the arc Mr. X had in Amphibia. He started out as a Javert-like antagonist, but he was ultimately a decent person who was just doing his job and he wound up helping the heroes in the end.
I think Graye and Terra Snapdragon should've been in the bad-to-evil tier since they have little to no redeeming qualities.

Honorable Mentions: Hunter and Willow (They just started but given the people around them, and that they connect with each other so well that I think they'll have a healthy one.)
I for SURE would have put Terra Snapdragon in the Evil category. She's just a nasty person who has no redeeming qualities. Sure, she regretted helping the Emperor during the draining spell, but that's because she didn't want to straight up die!! She's fine with torturing children, brainwashing people, and even being cruel to her own subordinates, like Kikimora. There is honestly no reason she should get to be morally grey.

There's such a huge gap between 1/2 in terms of evil in this show that it's kind of ridiculous!
Not to mention how abusive Belos is to Hunter, what’s truly evil is he knows when to dial it back to still gain Hunter’s trust and obedience
The way Hunter flinches but still is willing to take a hit is so upsetting, as well as him being conditioned to have to earn “love” and approval
i'd say Hunter should be placed above Lilith, for a couple of reasons.
1) Lilith cursed Eda. while she didn't know the full extent of this curse, it still paints her as someone who's willing to cheat to get what she wants, even if it means harming others. her actions in Covention show that she never learned the lesson.
2) she was in the Emperor's coven for way longer than Hunter. Belos had them do some bad things to enforce the tyrannical regime, both within the coven and in the wider society, but we can assume that the longer you serve the coven, the more atrocities you commit.
3) Lilith grew up in a fairly normal family. the clawthornes had some issues, but not as bad as Hunter's situation. she also went to normal school, socialized, and had many opportunities to learn right from wrong. she had a sister who was there for her. while Hunter was raised by Belos, he was extremely isolated, the only thing he knew was control or be controlled. what i'm saying is, lilith had more chances to realize how messed up this environment is. not to mention Lilith is an adult, and Hunter is a teenager. (even though neither of then came to the truth on their own, they both needed to be personally betrayed by Belos to see him for what he is)

I'd say THE tbh
Actually, I think Eda should be higher up on the list. Yes she's snarky and mean and harsh at times but she was willing to give her LIFE (on multiple occasions) to save the world that shunned her. One thing that always struck out about her to me is that considering how she was treated and everything, she had every right to turn into a full fledged villain but still chose to be good. Within the second episode, she risked her life for Luz, whom she barely even knew. She took in King when she found him on the island because she knew it was dangerous and didn't want him to get hurt even through she knew nothing about him or what he was. She even forgave both her mother and sister after they hurt her in terrible ways and she forgave them pretty quickly. Considering what Lilith and Gwendolyn did to her and how they both treated her, it would have been understandable to hate them and never forgive them. I mean, Lilith literally ruined her life and Gwendolyn repeatedly put her in danger and acted like she was some freak because of the curse yet Eda still found in her heart to forgive them when they realized they were wrong (and even let Lilith stay with her when she would have kicked Lilith to the streets and left her to fend for herself). I could probably write an entire book on why Eda is the best character in the show and why she's actually one of top five for kindest/good characters. She handled and dealt with everything a lot better than most people would. Most people would turn to be evil or at least very mean. I mean, she's not "I'm kind to everyone and always think of everyone else's feelings" but she should at least be in the top five.
Also, on the other side. Terra is the absolute worse. At the very least, she's a lot worse then the collector and Jacob. We aren't even sure if the collector is actually evil; he just seems like a sad, lonely child that was the product of a lot of mistreatment and lies. As for Jacob, yes he's very evil. He tried to kidnap and murder a child. But Terra actually did that and more. She threatened to murder a whole load of child multiple times and only didn't because there were witnesses around. She drugged someone MULTIPLE times. She's emotionally and mentally manipulative and abusive and considering how Raine flinches when she touches them, she's probably physically abusive too. Also, I would go as far as to say that she's actually *worse* than Belos or Kikimora. At least with those two you expect them to be evil and everything. They have their moments of acting like they're nice but you can always tell that they're pretty awful (unless your Lilith or Hunter but that's an entirely different story). As for Terra, the most terrifying thing about her is that one moment she's acting like your best friend, the next she is stabbing you while telling you it's your fault. Belos and Kikimora are the Voldermorts of the Owl House but Terra is Umbridge. She's just worse than anyone else and that is a hill I will die on.
There is only one more episode, can't you wate fore the end of the series?
Honestly Raine should have the golden medal since Luz while changed people's life for the better. She made a ruckus at school meanwhile Raine basically wanted to save the world.
Luz progressed and it wasn't easy for her. Left by her dad at 7, doesn't accepted at her realm, blamed and think she made everything worse oh god. If I was her I don't know if I can make it.

Yes
Amity is a good character, but I think she deserves to be a tiny bit lower on the good scale since she used to be a bully. It wasn't her fault that she was a bully but she still was.
One nitpick is it seemed like Adrian was far more interested in how to get to the gulderstone's that were shown in Gus's projected illusions not studying Gus's capabilities.
I would probably place The Collector in the good section because he got his redemption, but seeing as this was released before Watching and Dreaming, I understand why you placed him in neutral.

I think Odalia has actions that are similar to emperor belos being mean and nasty to everyone but is a little bit nice when it comes to people like her husband and especially the collector at least at first
No... she's not... She subverted care for Alador and was only being nice to the Collector to manipulate him to rebuild the Isles in her image.

don't fully agree. I think Gus should be at the top of the list. Sure, he's naive, but that actually highlights just how pure he is. I do't think he has even had a harmful thought in the show, while even Luz has had selfish instincts
I have a little quibble with the "good" list, but overall, I agree with the order.
As for the gray, I can see an argument for the illusion coven head as gray, but Terra? She didn't kill the kids, but she would have without a second thought. Only thing that stopped her was being told it was illegal, not because it wasn't right. She's far from the most evil, but she ain't gray.
Now, Bill and the Titan Trappers, I don't think they both belong in bad/evil. Bill definitely, but the Titan Trappers were fooled, unaware until King escaped, that the Titans weren't evil. I could see them as gray.
Those were the ones that jumped out at me.
