    This hurts my brain. Why did the lasers bounce between the mirrors almost perfectly even though the laser was shot at a strange angle? Are the mirrors weirdly concave? Why did she make them bounce between the two mirrors instead of shooting the door directly with the lipstick? Do the lasers get stronger each time they bounce off a mirror? How does that work? When she turned the mirrors did they accidentally burn off the other girls’ ankles? Why did the mirrors continue to shoot after they were turned. Can the mirrors generate lasers but only if they bounce lasers back and forth for a bit? Why would you design a spy weapon that requires such a complex setup?
    And the only explanation they give is “old racket ball trick shot”
    ?????
    Okay

    • @randylalrinsanga3078
      @randylalrinsanga3078 2 ปีที่แล้ว +417

      I was also so confused. It was totally illogical. Like you said, Clover could've just shoot the door with the laser, and i can understand that the compact mirror must be made out of a special material to make the laser bounce like that, but when she turned it just shoots the laser instead of making it bounce in another direction.

      @@randylalrinsanga3078 not to mention light being one of the worst ways of transferring heat,that light would need to have been so bright it blinded the both of them frying their retinas instantly to even raise the temperature of the door by 10°, as opposed to just melting it with a plasma torch, also if that half an entire door did just melt it's a good inch and a half thick steel, wouldn't it have stayed red hot for like 5 minutes, and hot for almost an hour at that mass, she just crawls straight through it as if it's room temperature

    • @weebjeez
      @weebjeez 2 ปีที่แล้ว +155

      @@alexanderwoolley1623 Since you folks seemed confused, I figured I would jump in to add some explanations for what's going on here...
      That light? Wasnt' a light. It was a high-powered laser, disguised as lipstick (part of their spy gear, and almost the cause of one of the girl's deaths, before it was explained what they could do, though this was played for laughs).
      Also, the reason that they "had" to use this method was because they had been trapped by a villain, and this was how they escaped.
      Side note, as well about makeup compacts? Their mirrors ARE concave.
      And, of course, finally? This is a cartoon.

    • @OscarGT25
      @OscarGT25 2 ปีที่แล้ว +56

      I mean lasers are peoduced by bouncing photons back and forth between parallel mirrors, and each time they bounce they gain energy. The trick here is that one of the mirrors is not 100% reflective. After a certain amount of energy, the energized photons go through the non 100% reflective mirror which produces a laser.

    What has me REALLY confused is she used the "lipstick" to emit the laser, THEN the laser was being bounced back and forth between the two mirrors...so good so far. BUT THEN she turns the mirrors and all of a sudden there each emitting their own individual lasers? THAT'S NOT HOW THAT WORKS. If SOMEHOW they managed to get the beam to not dissipate the second the source of the laser was removed, then the second the mirrors came out of alignment the laser that was bouncing between them would have went flying off in whatever direction it was pointed. All this did was teach kids that mirrors are "magical" and don't absorb ANY wavelengths of light but bounce 100% of it back forever. Lmao.

      It doesn't make any sense man, you'd never be able to do that with a laser

    Yo this show was underrated. I’d watch it every morning before school with my brother

    I have no clue why I keep coming back to this. Maybe because of the background music, the clanking of the heels, the voice acting honestly I dont know...I really dont.

    That screen just has to be the pinnacle of troll logic.
    Yet to be fair, its actually not that off, its really just the speed at witch you would need to move the mirrors, and some other small details like the amoment of engey needed and distcan betwwen the... yeah in shot, something like this is technically possible.
    If we by that mean in a completely different setup and scenario lmao.

      So what u are saying is the way they did it in that scene shouldn't be possible

      You would have to move the mirrors at faster than the speed of light, so no it’s not technically possible given our current knowledge of physics. The amount of energy or excuse me, the “amoment of engey” wouldn’t change the speed at which light travels.

    Is there anyway to prove that this is scientifically possible?

    I'm glad I wasn't the only one who just stopped everything for a moment and was very confused.. even went over it in my head a lot.

    I love when cartoons just dont care about physic or logic, in the end it just a drawing and artist can do whatever they want with it.. like spongebob with fire for example.
