"There's no joke, Fozzie"
That's kinda the state of modern humor. There are a number of reasons that shitloads of comedians have basically said that comedy is dead.
thought i just had, maybe the issue is that audiences just want a different rhythms to comedy?
like, punchlines usually are good since they turn current expectations on their heads, right?
so people might be expecting when the punchline is coming out, and maybe that creates an element of unpredictability?
but when theres no punchline it throws off that rhythm
now, the problem with it is that its not really hard to do, since theres no clever twist aside from "i'm messing with the rhythms of comedy!". which anybody can do
since i predict this will get old soon (and thats assuming that it already hasnt), then you'd have to find some way to become even more meta
not that i'd know how to do that. my only ideas are to either be completely deadpan with outlandish stuff, or to bring back puns and ask people if you're allowed to tell jokes before you tell them (like when you're 3 years old)

"How about another joke, Kermit?"
"No, I think we had enough of your jokes."
Well what do you get when you cross a mentally ill bear with A SOCIETY THAT ABANDONS HIM AND TREATS HIM LIKE TRASH!!
The sitcom laugh actually makes this 100 times funnier
“You’re a horrible person Fozzie”
Kermit the Frog, 2022
Seems like Fozzie’s been getting his material from 4chan.
literally every single place on the internet has 911 jokes
Implying people on 4chan have a wife to hate
They never mentioned USS liberty and dancing Israelis though

you should do a video where old snake asks otacon how he got the money for their equipment, and he says NFT's. And he has to explain what they are with snake being completely lost.
"Non-fungible tokens? What the hell are you talking about Otacon? How can you sell my old RAY photos if we leaked them years ago?"
The last joke is in the thumbnail and the punchline still caught me the fuck off guard lmao
The last joke is probably the only time I’ll ever laugh at Fozzy’s jokes.
I always admire whoever the voice actors are for this channel, like how the heck did you nail every single voice in your video? 😂
I like that Kermit concedes that "I hate my wife" is relatable, and then in the next video, Kermit is getting a divorce
“Bring up 9/11” would definitely work in today’s demographic. Don’t lie
Fozzie's new edgy comedy special where the poster is him with caution tape on his mouth
Solidjj and jhett are the best at doing parodies right while also adding subtle commentary in their videos
Did you know Osama Bin Laden once appeared on Hell's Kitchen? He made a big apple crumble.
0:37 Mr Enter everybody.
As a comedian I can confirm I always phrase "bring up 9/11" as a last resort
This was ofcourse before Fozzie got outed in the whole 'Sesame too' scandal
Kermit's being a bit hypocritical here considering he caused 9/11
"It's commentary. My humor is informative and questions things."
Mr Enter making his turning red review
I think Kermit acting as the straight man reacting to Fozzie’s edginess IS the punchline!
0:36 predicted Mr. Enter
Can’t think of a better time to listen to this
Fozzies a smart bear, make a horrible comedy routine, complain about cancel culture on twitter when people don’t like your jokes, go on joe Rogan, and make a fortune on the 200th Comedy Central special titled “trigger warning.” My man fozzie will be made for life, he won’t be funny but he will be a very rich bare. Wakka wakka
bear not bare
Kermit: Your a horrible person Fozzie
Fozzie: But I am a bear…
Kermit: Oh… good joke

I feel like a traitor for smiling at that..
the crash and burn joke actually made me laugh
Same here I feel bad now
