Perhaps Toffee thought Eclipsa was dead by the hands of the Mewni royal family that despised her and so he wanted revenge. Maybe with Eclipsa getting freed, we might see both Toffee and Eclipsa get a reunion. Now that would be a twist. But hey, it's just a hypothesis, so...

Ok so last night I was writing a whole thing about how Star seriously needs help but then my phone died ;~; Anyway, Star seriously needs therapy or something. She’s more unstable than usual. She usually is a lot more confident and shrugs off any danger. This episode, Star snaps over cherishing Marco’s hoodie and chases someone who is just trying to do his job over it and is haunted by Glossy. While the latter COULD be passed off as Glossy messing with Star or something, she usually doesn’t have this low of a fear tolerance from what I can tell. Her slow descent into madness has been showing in episodes like Starcrushed and Face the Music, where Star snaps and walks out of a concert over Jackie, destroying a sign. It seems to me that Battle For Mewni has had a serious effect on Star. Her own subconscious tries to bury it with her own usual cheerfulness, but it still shines through. I swear she is one step away from either completely snapping or falling into a depression. GET STAR SOME HELP. Maybe I’m missing something, but she seems more fragile than usual. Her mind seems to have reverted to an infantile state of everything being sunshine and rainbows like in season 1, when in all actuality, reality is starting to set in. It might seem by the end of both episodes that she’s overcome her own insanity, but I wouldn’t assume that she’s alright. I almost want to be right, but I also think Star is adorable so I don’t like seeing her sad ;~; Feedback would be appreciated but this is what I personally have seen
