When you slow down for the curves, do you use the brakes or do you just ease off the accelerator?

It depends on how sharp the corner is. At tracks like Suzuka or Seaside, there is at least one extremely sharp corner where you have to shift down to low gear, otherwise you'll crash into the sign.

It would have been awesome if we got Pole Position 1 and 2 on the NES. But the closest thing we have to it is F1 Race on that system.
