@@blueeyeddevil9441 GenX Jon also echoed this sentiment in his review and you're right. It WOULD be great. There's a lil Gorf cabaret that's at SFGE every year and I always stop and play it. If it was for sale Id have to strongly consider it.
Nice review! This machine looks really cool and for me it would be shelf candy! And I've seen shelf candy pieces going for way more than 50$, so it's definitely not bad! I like that you took the time to test the timing to make sure that it's synced so that people who would actually buy it to play it would get the exact same experience! Great video and keep up the good work!
Yeah, apparently its an actual arcade rom, ported or whatever term you wanna use. But it does handle surprisingly well for what it is. I did not expect the joystick to be that efficient.
It's a new & creative design. We now know there's a Pac-Man & Ms. Pac-Man, plus an Asteroids on the way (weird). I'll say it again, though... #GiveMeGorf !!!
That’s a neat little cabinet! If I remember right there is a trick you can do to where the enemies won’t fire at you in Galaga. Have a great rest of your week btw!
It is an upgrade. I just wonder at what level it prices itself out. You wonder how many of these you can feasibly sell one person at 50 a hit. But then again, Numskull sellin units for $150 so anything is possible. This thing is totally decent so it's got that goin.
I need to pick one of these up i think..hooe you have been doing well brother!..Just saw i havent been getting my notifications from ya.. I got a couple to catch up on!
If YOU aren't getting notifications then we know the system is hopelessly broken! Im hangin in there my man, I hope you're doing well also. I have a lot of good content on the cooker!
@Emceemur I saw I missed a few ..I was like what has Andy been up to I haven't seen anything come out lately..so i went and checked and saw I missed like 4 videos. I did start my channel after listening to your panels at SFGE . I am having fun making the videos and sharing the pinball part of my life.. thanks for the Inspiration brother!
You're right. On both accounts actually lol. But in reality that's what these have always been about. Collect the set and enjoy what they represent. Because you really aren't firing these up when you go to max out a high score. They're super cool display pieces though.
I actually have the Pac-Man one of this collection and I didn't even know it was part of a collection?!?! And the collection is kind of expensive?!?! Awesome.
I appreciate you checking in! Yeah, I have a new flea video in the works. I am currently working on back to back review videos which are time sensitive. And after the flea video we will update on the GameStop challenge and I will be filming the next few game hunting vids. Lots of stuff going on this year so far.
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it the NES version? I may have it mixed up with a competitor product. But yeah, the NES roms are the go to on a lot of these novelty minis and plug n plays.
Yeah, you're right. I always think of George and Frogger on Seinfeld... The only reason I brought that up is some of these mini units (if my memory serves me correctly) have started saving high scores and I kinda expected this thing to do the same. If that requires an internal battery of some sort, I dunno. And as for your unit, I'll take your word for it...
Thanks, man! 3 or 4 times bigger would be the A1Up Galaga Countercade. And it's actually on sale through Walmart for $80 right now so that's not bad. But normally they're $130.
I got it a motorcycle arcade game, with a small motorcycle you use to drive, stearing with your hand of course. There are a bunch so I didn't suggest any.
Now, that would be pretty awesome if Nintendo partnered with these guys and put out all the "Vs" games. Mario, Castlevania, Excitebike, the works! Nintendo historically doesn't play well with others but, we can dream lol

I would like to see My Arcade make Gorf with this joystick with all the levels and voices.

What a unique way to play Galaga!
It's a cool lil unit! Looks sharp on the shelf too. It's just fun. Thanks for watching this!

Id be totes down for a Gorf. You know Im always jammin on that Gorf at SFGE. That's a sweet ride!!
Tron will be fun to play with this Joystick
Are they making a tron?
Great video Mur! I really liked the custom Mur/GXG carts!
Stew!! Good to see you, my man! Yeah, those are super cool pieces. Jon made those out of old Combat carts!

You remember right! In fact I believe @genxgrownup did a short on that. Thanks for being here my friend!
@@Emceemur No problem!
Too good. That looks great. Loved Galaga from it's arcade release back in early 1980's. Unfortunately my 5 yo son always maxed out my score!
You wouldn't believe how rusty I was picking Galaga back up! But it's always fun. I'm glad you liked the review, my friend!
It looks good and I like the joystick. I would prefer a joystick box that connects to the tv though.
Yeah, I was impressed with the controls for sure. But I hear ya, itd be tough to play for any serious length of time tethered to this thing.
Nice unit. Good for people that don't have access to Galaga the way I do. Definitely an upgrade to the previous myarcade versions.

This is super cool! I love me some Galaga!
It never stops being fun. But I gotta brush up on my skills. I had gotten pretty rusty!

Moon Patrol River raid could go well with this format.
Interesting little machine but it would probably end up sitting on the shelf.

Looks like a solid unit! I'd love to see a Frogger arcade, from the actual arcade, not some SNES or Genesis port.
And they could do it too! A1Up did and that means the license is out there.
I actually have the Pac-Man one of this collection and I didn't even know it was part of a collection?!?! And the collection is kind of expensive?!?! Awesome.
I have a handful of the different mini arcades. They're cooler to look at than to play but they are nice accents for the room shelves 👍
@@Emceemur Yes I agree!!!
Been kinda quiet lately, just making sure all is good, Mur! Hope a new flea market flippin' drops soon

my arcade pole position 1&2 with steering wheel omg get this gem
I'm definitely planning on it! It really is well done! Im a big Pole Position fan.
Nice review. 🔥💯👍
Thanks Double-E!
Nice! I always felt the other My Arcade version of Galaga was a scaled down version of the game.
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it the NES version? I may have it mixed up with a competitor product. But yeah, the NES roms are the go to on a lot of these novelty minis and plug n plays.
That's what I was thinking too! It felt like the NES version! This one looks like a port of the original arcade!
My eyes say yes, but my hands say aw hell no. lol
Yeah it's not built for big mitts, that's for sure. But I imagine a colorful row of these on a shelf and that's pree kool! Lol
my "unit" is playable...also, OG Galaga Arcades didn't save High Scores either..once powered off..you need a mod for that nowadays

I thought you might have info on that 🤣. I buy small arcades all the time I think there awesome

Yeah, it'd be good for 8bit Hang On or Mach Rider or something...
The volume is low and speaker should face the player. Same issue on the games.
Well they like that kind of feedback. These guys actively listen to the consumer and are always willing to make adjustments.
