I fish in the saltwater around the Chesapeake Bay and I use both Hover Rigs and the TUSH. When they started I suggested heavier weights and hooks and Matt delivered. I didn't get a chance to use them from my kayak much last summer because I ordered them too late. But I expect they'll be awesome for flounder, redfish and trout. I should try their swim jigs for those fish too.
I got the 3/64 oz. hover rig and throw it with a flat worm. It's a bait that catches everything. Green sunfish to blue cats. Honestly I think he's got the best TH-cam channel for tip videos.
Matt, Thanks for the tips on the swim jig!!! I use the TUSH and love the action it gives the bait so I can see how it would work with the swim jig as well. Looking forward to getting both the Wacky Shot & Weedless. Merry Christmas to you & the family!!!! 🎄☃ Stay Safe & God Bless!! 🤠👍
The 4” Sakamata shad on the weedless wacky caught some for me today. (And the Sakamata holds up better than any other way I’ve ever rigged it.) What do you think about the 4” fat on that hook? Are you using the 5”?
I threw the core tackle 1/4oz 2/0 swim jig a lot this year with a rage tail menace with great success. Mark Fisher outdoor just did an underwater video with the new wacky shot
That swim jig gonna bust 90 percent of the plastics i use. Neat idea though. Get tungsten down there and slim it down. That chunky monkey had to be lead covered. Matt stefans gupppy head is my all time favorite jig head though.
I think Im one of few Swedish anglers who actually have some core. The new product looks fire. But to import is a pain so I might end up going down to the local tackleshop and with a well placed firm but gento grip make him bring it into his inventory. xD
I must be missing something in regards to the wacky shot, every place I see them (fish USA, tacklewarehouse, etc) all show the screw lock below the hook not with the hook through the keeper.

That’s awesome! I bet they will eat it!

Oh that’s sneaky!! The 4” fat might be deadly on this. This was a 5” regular in the video

Oh I’ll have to check his out!
I love all the Core Tackle baits. I have everything except the Wacky Shots, but I will be getting some before next Spring.
Love to hear it!
You had me at weedless wacky. Core is really knocking them out of the park.
They sure are!
My weedless wacky shots came in yesterday. Excited to give them a try. Got a pack of both sizes.
That’s awesome! Good luck!

Tungsten would be awesome!

Haha I love it! Hopefully they listen

I think you got to the Core of it Matt...
Haha I see what you did there
