We got some crazy weather today at the stadium, but it was such a fun time. If I had to pick one thing in going to this game that I loved the most, it was Zach Wilson going off! He improvised any chance he got, and when he ran out of the pocket he made just incredible plays. No disrespect, but he really did look like a #2 overall pick today. Everyone looked so smooth, and the offense was just a well-oiled machine! How about that defense, too!? Keidron Smith's stock continues to rise, great tackling from everyone once again, and LeVelle Bailey with that ELECTRIC Pick 6. It's good to be back to football again, and this preseason was a great way to treat Broncos Country. This was the first game “even if it’s preseason” I had blast with my wife and our anniversary weekend getaway and I’m glad Denver had dominated it was an amazing experience!
I think we can safely blame the Jets for Zach Wilson's difficult start in the NFL. With that arm ( on display @ 08:09 ) I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another shot at a starting QB in the next few years.
I hope this is a sign of things to come. I don't know how much my heart and sanity can take the revolving door of quarterbacks the Broncos have gone through since Payton Manning. Many times I have considered going back to my high school days as a bandwagon fan so I can cheer for a team that wants to win!!
Zach has tremendous arm talent and throws a beautiful ball. Fooled the jets to draft him 2nd overall. But you can tell he’s a 3rd string qb for a reason. Zero pocket awareness, tons of mental errors, can’t decide under pressure. True, he looked great against non nfl players, who are plumbers next week, but in the nfl, you have good pass rushers, and receivers that are not always wide open. He’s a good 3rd string qb at best.
