Nix has surgical precision within about 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. He's absolutely elite at reading and distributing the ball around the line of scrimmage. He needs receivers who can turn and burn, like he had at Oregon. If you're wanting a QB to throw 8 - 15 yds down field, he's not going to give you an elite performance. He's still average, but nothing like his stats (comp %, yds/game) would indicate.
If the offense stops committing so many penalties, it would help them in production. Jones having 3 called on him just on 1 drive is atrocious. Penalties have erased some big plays to Pickens in the 2 games. Some of those penalties have been ridiculous also. The offense though as a whole is a work in progress. multiple players have multiple things that they need to improve on. Fields has done good protecting the football. Hopefully they can start finishing some drives.
they won't be ignored this year if Fields improves every game. That's probably going to be one of the bigger storylines because its tied to the Chicago Bears drafting Caleb Williams over keeping Fields. If Fields improves every week he stays the starter and the Steelers go into the playoffs and all of media will be dragging the Bears for always making the wrong decision when it comes to the QB, whether that be drafting the wrong one or moving off of them too soon or too late.

Almost every single big play you guys had was because of a penalty. Most of your yards came from pass interference calls and the only reason you even had success on those plays that were called back was because your line held an edge rusher from sacking the qb
Team is still in transition. Don’t expect much with this roster. If the Broncos are close to .500 consider that the ceiling this year. If they win 4-6 games, might be time for Sean Payton to close up shop.

Nix has surgical precision within about 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. He's absolutely elite at reading and distributing the ball around the line of scrimmage. He needs receivers who can turn and burn, like he had at Oregon. If you're wanting a QB to throw 8 - 15 yds down field, he's not going to give you an elite performance. He's still average, but nothing like his stats (comp %, yds/game) would indicate.

If the offense stops committing so many penalties, it would help them in production. Jones having 3 called on him just on 1 drive is atrocious. Penalties have erased some big plays to Pickens in the 2 games. Some of those penalties have been ridiculous also. The offense though as a whole is a work in progress. multiple players have multiple things that they need to improve on. Fields has done good protecting the football. Hopefully they can start finishing some drives.

they won't be ignored this year if Fields improves every game. That's probably going to be one of the bigger storylines because its tied to the Chicago Bears drafting Caleb Williams over keeping Fields. If Fields improves every week he stays the starter and the Steelers go into the playoffs and all of media will be dragging the Bears for always making the wrong decision when it comes to the QB, whether that be drafting the wrong one or moving off of them too soon or too late.
Clean up the penalties steelers, Thats needed. Steelers need a WR2 no doubt badly.(somebody gotta step up cause... We got what we got at the time.) Steelers need to stay healthy. Still work on getting more Touchdowns.

Almost every single big play you guys had was because of a penalty. Most of your yards came from pass interference calls and the only reason you even had success on those plays that were called back was because your line held an edge rusher from sacking the qb
