The biggest one is " Always tell the truth" My attorney told me that from the beginning. He said if they deny you, you can appeal, if you are caught in a lie it's over. Then he said this " They are not asking you because they don't know, they are asking you to see if you will tell the truth.
Hey guys, another good news! 😊 Just yesterday being 16th December 2020, I went for my CR1 Visa interview and finally got my CR1 visa approved yesterday in Nigeria, Lagos Consulate... 😊😊 I'm so happy, it's been since April 2019 last year I started this journey. And now I'm already at the finish line, for many of you out there still waiting on your case, I wish you all Success! 👍❤.. God bless you all. . .🇳🇬❤
I just recently subscribed to your channel and this is my second video am watching. Love that you take the time out to make sure we are properly informed about immigration filing etc etc. I just wish the fee to see a immigration lawyer wasn't so expensive for those who don't have it like some out there.
If you can read and understand English well , read the forms instructions, understand it well, fill the forms the right information, then you don’t need a friend or paralegal or attorney. No one knows or can fill any information without you yourself provide it. Read and understand well.
What if i have an underage kid & we are living outside the US. I overstayed one time & since 2015 has been refused B1/B2 visa. How do i go about it? What do i do?
For those who decided to do it on their own (which many do), then #1 & #3 are relevant to them. For those who chose to have "someone else" do it for them, #2 is relevant to them! I was targeting both groups!!
Let's see, if I hire a attorney then I won't be able to travel to see my family this year! Isn't the hiring of a attorney a gamble as well? I paid a attorney 100 dollars just to tell me that his fees would be over $5,000 with no guarantees! I'm thinking about moving to another country because this process is as if you're being interrogated and extorted! To be with the ones that you love should never this completed! My family has been in this country for 400 years and my military service obviously means very Little, the officers at the embassy asked my wife about a previous marriage that ended 25yr ago, how would she know about that? I don't talk to my wife about my ex wife that has remarried and divorced twice since our divorce two and a half decades ago! This is oppression.....
I really agree with you Mrs. mcbeam Mistake on filling papers by yourself or other outside people can be costly But sometimes it is not like you want to do it that way but
I remember going alone and the immigration interviewer lying to me. she said oh you have retroactive on child support? I said yes and I'm making payments on it. She say don't worry I won't say anything. The immigration letter arrived and it said denied due to child support retroactive lol 😆. Now year's later I'm done with child support and have a lawyer. My question would be why do some lie to us?
Thank you. I married a Nigerian in 2019 and had a lawyer file our paperwork but got denied because of bad counsel so we hired another lawyer and have refilled our all petitions so plz pray we get approved this year 2021 at our new interview

@@McBeanImmigrationLaw Hi dear McBean. Please, please answer this question. What if I entered unknowingly, unintentionally my ID card’s number instead of Passport number on my DV entry? I had passport when I was on my DV entry process and there was nothing wrong with my Passport at that time, and also it is still same Passport and there is nothing wrong with my Passport even still... I simply made mistake unintentionally because of my relatively poor English… I hadn’t understood paragraphs promptly when I was process my DV entry and when I see the «Passport» paragraph, said to myself: «Oh that’s it,they meant this...(P.S. my ID card...)» and entered... So in this case,am I still in high risk of disqualification or refusal? I'm too worry...(((
Also if the “lawyer” charges you $ money just to read documents or event just to “process” documents, that’s also a red flag that they’re just scamming you.
Mcbean I am a Nigerian citizen but my daughter of three years old is an American citizen and I have son of 6years who is not a citizen. I have the intention of coming to the us with them and my wife to stay, what is the process.

I agree, in my case the first one who fixed my papers for my green card she took mistake to used forms for sponsorship, so the NVC send us an email what errors we need to fix it, that's why my son bring it to the immigration lawyer
The person who prepared my GC case made mistakes on my form and when I went for my interview in November, the immigration officer corrected the error during the interview process

Sometimes it is not like you do not want to hire an attorney
It is the fact that it is costly and you do not have the kind of money to pay upfront.

Some of us cannot afford the thousands of dollars that lawyers cost. Filing for family is already a really expensive process.
