Gateway stamp company also did an Ali signing in 1990 to mark his 30 anniversary winning the gold medal. They are signed envelopes postmarked in Rome with silk cachet. I have one. They are legit
Since you mentioned that LeBron's autograph is almost impossible to get for free, do you think he doesn't like signing in person because he thinks it's just handing out money to people that didn't earn it? It seems like that's why many athletes don't like signing for free.
I have about a hundred autographs. Got everyone in person. That is the only way I will buy an autograph. I don't trust nobody, plus it gives me more pleasure when looking at the autographs (knowing its real).
Not everyone lives near stadiums and arenas to collect in person and not everyone lives close to big cities to be able to attend autograph shows. You just have to know the autographs you are collecting ttm, through private signings and buying on the secondary market to know what you are getting is real. If you are going to worry so much about what you are getting is real or not, collecting those ways obviously isn't for you and that's ok.
Kobe also signed KB. It was the get the hell out of my face autograph.
Still worth something to someone, especially now that he's no longer with us.
Have you ever purchased a autograph that was fake? Which players? And how did you handle it?
also Jordan camp autos are legit too from UDA.
I actually got a Michael Jordan signed bill of a golf hat with huge signature for $330. I sent it to PSA/DNA and got a full letter of authenticity.
You selling it?
@@adamb8984 to the right buyer yes. It’s framed and has PSA certification now.
@@Daniel_B_23 how can I contact you?

Plus the memories that come with that autograph. Although I do occasionally buy from a few reputable guys I know personally.

Tom Brady & Patrick Mahomes have the worst autographs I have ever seen.
Fun fact: Patrick Mahomes actually had a different autograph his rookie season, which is much more visually appealing than modern ones.
Do athletes autographs change over time?
In most cases yes. Jeter. Trout. Jordan. Kobe. LeBron. Those have all changed from their rookie years.
What is your most expensive autograph you own?
@@robertgeorge6046 currently a Jeter signed rookie card.
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia what if they just sign it a little diffrently once after their 1000th sig of the day
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia Jeter had a way better signature during his minor league days. What's the purpose of an athlete changing their signature?
I know my Ted Williams is real as I got it signed in person when I was a kid.
My dad looked like Ted but he was a drunk con artist. He used to drag me around with him signing stuff for ppl.
