I just bought one of the SCS-MOS Optics and a one quick push of the button increases the brightness considerably, push again goes back to auto brightness. Push and hold cycles through circle-dot, circle, dot and off. On my G-45 👍
I have the ORIGINAL AEMS sight with all the bells and whistles. Love it for my 9 mm RUGER PCC chassis carbine. BUT the original mount was a bit too high so I added a 1/4" high MAGPUL MOE cheekpiece on my MOE stock. PERFECT eye-to-sight alignment and it just snaps on the MOE stock.
The SCS sounds pretty legit. I like what they're doing with multiple light sensors. I would still feel more comfortable with solar and user replaceable battery. I may change my mind though if I had some long term experience with the SCS as is.
You may need to watch the video again. I included close-up shots of each of the optic as we discuss them. It’s kind of hard to zoom the camera when you are in front of it. 😂

Purchased an SCS MOS that lasted about 3 weeks, and 50 rounds before it mysteriously stopped working. Shipped it back to Holosun just to find out that their warranty dept is backed up 1-2 weeks+15-20 day turnaround. Should have stuck to the proven RMR.
I was using the watch to control the iPhone that was recording the video. Glancing at it confirmed the camera was still rolling. Drawbacks of not having a camera op on this trip. 😉

Literally the perfect optic would be the Holosun SCS with the green VULCAN ACSS reticle....... just a suggestion...

Holosun is really pushing the optics market forward. No other company is as innovative. I think Sig is doing the same for the pistol as well.

They did not mention a RMR footprint version at this time. It would be a great option.
