Thanks for a great video. Just pointing out that your favorite monk fruit sweeteners are mostly erythritol. I recommend liquid stevia and monk fruit sweeteners for Keto friendly. Alot of baking recepies do well with erythritol. Also xylitol is toxic to dogs, so watch out for that. If Fido grabs a cookie that was made with Xylitol it could be very harmful. Thanks again. Love the channel.
Great video! There is a sweetener made by Whole Earth Sweetener Co that is stevia and monk fruit combined. On closer examination I read it has erythritol, fructose and chicory root in it too. What do you think?

In the end for all those people who are confused I would suggest to research on your own any product even those that Bobby recommends because it might work for him but it can be bad for you and what I found out that Erythritol most of a time is made from fermented GMO cornstarch. Wow. I always thought I was doing a good thing using sucralose, and the Walmart brand is cheaper than Splenda.😖 I'm leaving it alone now. Thanks for posting this.
Splenda is great for killing ants. Once we found out we tried it when we saw a group of them in are house and it was a slow death for them 😳. Needless to say we didn't use Splenda after that and we had a big Costco box of them left. 🤣

Thank you Bobby for reminding us the fake honey from China, personally I will not trust any products made from China because I know how they make the cheap products without any quality control standard . So far, stevia & monk fruit sweetness are my favorites !
High fructose corn syrup is probably the biggest trigger for my gout and it's in everything. I tried switching to diet drinks, but then I learned how bad aspartame is. So this video is very helpful, thank you.
The Whole Earth brand packets are mostly erythritol with some chickory root. But no dextrose or dextrin. I use them in coffee. Appears that I have no or very little glycemic reaction.
I’m not doing any special diet but I just love you & all the information you have taught me! I taught cooking classes when I was younger, milled my own wheat & made everything from scratch but this is a different era & there is so much to be careful about. Thank-you for educating us on so many products! I have changed many things in my diet & will continue to do so. Even at 66 we can improve our lives with our diets. Please do a “haul” of good & bad items to buy at Sam’s Club. I have loved all your grocery store hauls but several of the stores we don’t have out in Arizona. So I would appreciate your take on Sam’s Club. Oh, I also want to say I am going to order your cookbook. I have been trying many of your recipes and just love them! Thank-you again to you and your wife and friends for all your help!
Monk fruit is my favorite, it is pretty on point as far as taste and it’s cup for cup ratio is perfect for baking, for anything keto. I cannot stand xylitol, it does horrible things to my tummy. Health garden, makes the best Monk fruit, got it at Amazon 3 pounds for $21.99
Sup Bobby! I'm surprised about your Swerve review. I love Swerve. I don't notice any aftertaste or cooling effect with it. I also use the stevia maple syrup on my pancakes and waffles. I guess it depends on your taste buds.
Bobby, I just read your recipe for Key Lime Pie, and I noticed that it includes one cup of maple sugar and 2/3rds of a cup of coconut sugar, which still has 4g of sugar per teaspoon, like all other sugars do, so I'm glad to hear that I can replace these with other sweeteners. Eric Berg, a chiropractor who explains the science inside many of these issues, has a short U-tube video on sugars, where I add here to your list: Just Like Sugar, and Fiber Yum, which causes no stomach problems like many other sweeteners do, and can be used on a one to one ratio in baking.
very good video Bobby. Best advice, drink your coffee and tea without any sweetener. I stopped putting sugar in my coffee many, many years ago, don't miss it. Steer clear or limit anything with sugar in it. You won't get rid of it completely as there are lots of hidden sugar in day to day products.
Bobby, why don't you write a book with all this great info on healthy food, etc. I'm 62 and want to be healthy & live a long life for my grandkids. Love all your videos.
Great video! I've also heard that there's a chemical process used to get the nectar from the agave plant that is not good, in addition to its higher glycemic index.
I really love your videos and the knowledge that you share!! So many people that do you tube videos are not good teachers or fluid in the process of presenting their knowledge or cooking videos! So professional but down to earth and funny....just LOVE and learn SO MUCH from you...THANKS FOR WHAT YOU SHARE!! I am in Ohio and if your ever offered a “ hands on” cooking class I would definitely attend 😊❤️😊
After reading the reviews, the monk fruit sweetener contains mostly erythritol. There's a reason they don't put the %. It's a marketing scam and very deceiving. Why pay a premium for a sweetener that contains mostly erythritol

I read reviews online for sugar free Maple Syrup that was made from Monkfruit and all these diabetics said it spiked their blood sugar level like crazy, it's the brand called Choc Zero.
This is great information. I can’t think of anywhere else you would get the kind of information you need to eat healthy and want to buy at the grocery store so you are providing a desperately needed service :-) I also appreciate you mentioning the glycemic index on some items because of type two diabetes. Mostly we try to eat local I Seemic index and avoid sugar wherever possible and so this helps us to know what we can and cannot eat on our food plan. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
A few things at Costo - Week of June 20 . Kirkland, the Costco brand, has a 95% grass-fed butter from New Zealand, two pounds for $9.99. Your beloved Peptides are on sale for $23.99. Also, comparing various bone broth, Kirkland has 192 oz.( 12 pounds ) of organic chicken broth for $16.99, colored with turmeric and full of organic vegetables and herbs, way less than anyone else's. Also, chicken bone broth is higher in some amino acids than beef broth, including potassium, and the lesser amount of collagen is negligible - 1g less for 8oz. of broth. And, finally, I'd like to let you know that the New Orleans, La, Costco carries the 100% grass-fed beef patties in the freezer, for $19.99, just under $4.00 a pound. Thanks, Bobby. I'm learning a lot ! I hope this helps someone...

Thank you very much. I am new subscriber. I was using truvia and stevia, but I hate them due to the artificial sweet smell of them. It become very difficult for me to stick to them, because when I add them to tea and coffee, they change the flavor of it. Then I found your video describing about Lakanto monk fruit sweetner, which tastes similar like sugar, no bad falvour. Your videos are so helpful, they changed my outlook towards choosing right groceries. All the best for your future videos.
Hi! I’ve been waiting for this video! Bobby or all... can you comment on Pyure? It’s a blend of organic erythritol and organic Stevia. I’m only using it for coffee in the packet form. I bought the Lakanto brand Monk Fruit sweetener last night for any baking needs. Thank you!!

Thank you!! I am learning so much from you!! Yours is my fave channel now. You squeeze so much information people can actually USE into every video. Please, keep em' coming. Which grocery store are you at in this video? I'm asking since I have never seen most of these products in any store I've been to, including Aldi.
Ive recently come across Allulose in some videos. Would like to hear more on this. Originally the hierarchy of healthy alternatives was Stevia and Monkfruit at the top followed closely by Erythritol which is my personal favorite because its not bitter. However Allulose seems to be even better. Anyone have any input?
My wife has perfected a mixture of allulose and monk fruit. It's tricky to get the mix right, but she's nailed it. She even makes an icing for her lemon pound cake that is made with 100% allulose and 100% fresh squeezed meyer lemon juice. She makes one for family gatherings for me ( gluten free ) and it is gone inside of 10 minutes. Everyone loves it. She does a mix because the bulk of the allulose makes it a perfect substitute for baking, but it is only about 70% as sweet as sugar. The monk fruit bumps the sweetness. And you only need a teeny tiny bit of monk fruit because it is 150 to 200 times sweeter than sugar. The combination is the perfect replacement for sugar in baking.
Hahaha, the reasons you listed for erythritol are why i prefer it over all other sugar substitutes. I find the cooling effect only comes with the powdered version. I use the granular/crystals version from So nourished off Amazon and its amazing. It tastes just like sugar without that tooth aching syrupy sweetness that real sugar can give you. Goes in, gives me that sweetness, body cant process it - goes out without effect. AND its tooth friendly :)
I use Erythritol and have never noticed any "cooling effect" on the tongue that some people mention, not just Bobby but others say that too. Personally, I love it. Tastes like sugar to me. However, out of curiousity, I do want to try the monk fruit and revisit stevia. My only experience with stevia was years ago via the Truvia brand and I hated it. This time I will give the pure stevia drops a shot and see if that tastes any better to me.
Bailey G its really hard to find good stevia. I just cant get past the taste of it. I have Greeniche Stevia which is supposed to be premium but it sits in my pantry. Dont know if a liquid one would be better but this powdered one is awful 😝
COOL, so many sweeteners out there and many thanks Bobby for pointing out the dos and don'ts on what to buy and not to buy but.....there is one sweetener you didn't mention, or is it because its not that popular and the sweetener is Sorghum. A friend in rural North Carolina loves the stuff and is the only sweetener he uses, not sure if he got it from some Amish folks or some rural coop.
Im so glad that there are finally so many healthier alternatives to the junk they've been selling us for years now, but I agree that it's gotten really out of hand. Best to grown & raise as much of your own food as possible & then when deciding what you need to supplement it, always ask yourself 2 questions: 1)"Did this exist as a food item in Biblical times" & 2)"If not, do I really need need it for convenience sake?"
Very informative! I love watching your videos for all this helpful info. Could you do a video on different types of milk ( organic/grass fed)? I’d love to hear your insight! Thanks!
Thanks Bobby and Art! I really appreciate all of your reviews and recipes. Changing the way we view healthy eating which tastes awesome. Loved all but especially the ketchup and BBQ sauce. I hope everyone will appreciate the time and effort you three put into this and will at the very least purchase their cookbook to help sustain these great videos, recipes and their. Ew family! Cheers
Erythritol all the way for me👍🏻I like the flavor and it doesn’t spike my blood sugar like other substitutes. There’s even a “brown sugar” erythritol that tastes great as well. It’s never caused me or my husband any digestion issues like the other sugar alcohols. Monkfruit and stevia would be a great choice if they weren’t so bitter. Edit: wrote my comment before I saw that you showed the Sukrin Gold. Seriously that stuff is worth the high price👍🏻
Agree with you Sally, have been using Erythritol for about 6 months now and its definitely the best .... I think its also personal choice - it does not leave any aftertaste to me and I am really sensitive to all the others from a taste point of view ...Go try Erythritol!
Correct me please. I thought you said, on another video, that 1 gram sugar = 1 tsp sugar. That's not accurate. My conversion table says 1 gram sugar = .17 tsp. sugar. So, if coffee creme has 5 grams sugar, that equals .85 tsp. sugar, a little less than 1 tsp. Thanks.
Pure is the best in any case in my opinion but I'm no expert. It's just more authentic (and expensive) than the bulk artificial ones. But it is usually used in small portions whichever way you go, so I feel like if you do bulk baking, using artificial might be more cost effective. But if you bake every now and then, pure vanilla would be a safe bet

Health garden, makes the best Monk fruit, got it at Amazon 3 pounds for $21.99
Hi Bobby, oh no this one doesn't have Closed captioning. We are a DHH/HH (Deaf) and love your channel. Thank you for posting such great advice!
Thank you very much:) you are the best👍🏽 I use a lot of white sugar and I have to stop 🛑
I just used Swerve and I immediately got sick!!! Thank you for doing this video.
Sup Bobby! I'm surprised about your Swerve review. I love Swerve. I don't notice any aftertaste or cooling effect with it. I also use the stevia maple syrup on my pancakes and waffles. I guess it depends on your taste buds.
I really appreciate that u mention whether or not it is keto friendly!
you took us to school today Bobby! Thanks for the info!

I was a little surprised you didn’t even mention trivia , please tell me your opinion on that thanks !
Sandra Gallagher yes, I was thinking the same thing 🤔
very good video Bobby.

Can you please do a video about coffee? The best ones to use
What would be the best sugar to add into your coffee? I would like to carry with me to use when I get coffee in the morning?
Great video! I've also heard that there's a chemical process used to get the nectar from the agave plant that is not good, in addition to its higher glycemic index.
Thanks! This was very helpful. Moderation is everything.

Thanks for pointing that out I was going to whole foods to buy that I'll stick to the organic coconut sugar.
The liquid does not contain erythritol
Sorry, I'm referring to the liquid Lakanto
I agree not to mention the BLOATING
Isn't erythritol really bad for your gut? Doesn't it cause severe cramping and diarrhea?
Dr. Berg talked about Erythritol. It's fin and much cheaper than monke, just go NON-GMO and it's perfect.
I love that Dolcedi Apple Sweetener there is no bitter aftertaste at all. I find most sugar substitutes have a funny taste.
hey thank you for focusing the camera on. the products so we can read the name of the products really helps
What is your thought about Allulose? I think this is the sugar used in Quest bars now. Thanks!

Thanks, God to you to keep us informed, thank you for keeping us healthier...... God bless you and your family..... good luck with everything you do .....☺️💝🌻
I’m going to make that biscotti ASAP! Thank you Dessi! Also, I make my own brown sugar with monk fruit or pyure and just a smidge of molasses.
Great idea, I will do that too 🙌🏻
Oh, and the Wholesome Stevia packets above the stevia you picked up off the shelf is a blend of stevia and erythritol. It tastes fantastic.
Such a BIG Fan of your channel, I have learned so much every video is educational for a healthier life style, love how you shop at different stores and search for the best deals! Keep those videos coming THANKSS your videos are helping many!! Viewing from Texas! 😊🙏

I read reviews online for sugar free Maple Syrup that was made from Monkfruit and all these diabetics said it spiked their blood sugar level like crazy, it's the brand called Choc Zero.
FlavCity with Bobby can you recommend a creamer for coffee please
milkadamia creamer unsweetened vanilla is very good. 0 carbs and 0 sugar
Christopher Nasca Thank You ... I’ll try it
I've been using Nut Pods creamer lately in the Hazelnut flavor. My local grocery carries it and I saw it at Walmart.
Jax T thank you ... I’ll look it up and see
How about raw milk cream, dumbass.
This is great information. I can’t think of anywhere else you would get the kind of information you need to eat healthy and want to buy at the grocery store so you are providing a desperately needed service :-)
I also appreciate you mentioning the glycemic index on some items because of type two diabetes. Mostly we try to eat local I Seemic index and avoid sugar wherever possible and so this helps us to know what we can and cannot eat on our food plan. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Love what your doing with these videos! Very informative. Greetings from New York!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ video.
Watching your videos is quicky becoming part of my Saturday morning routine Bobby. Once again I have information I can take immediately into my everyday life. Thank you!

@@EinfachFredhaftGaming scientist and doctors told us the jab is safe and effective. Those titles don't impress me.
Thank you!!
I love your channel! I cannot say enough good things about it. I have recommended you to all my friends and family. Thank you for the excellent content 😊

I really wish you would talk about brown rice syrup. It's supposed to be great for diabetics to use. Thank u keep up the great videos, I'm learning a lot.
Thank u for this..my dad just found out he has diabetes and were all trying to help him out. Ill make sure to buy him some of these so his blood levels wont spike ! Ur the man bobby !!
Great tips! Bad Coffee or good coffee? Any good creamers out there? Do you recommend any good tea's? Splenda, a no more for me! Thank you for sharing!
I just recently discovered your channel. I wondered if we had Monkfruit in Australia and we do! Getting it delivered this afternoon! I can't sugar not because diabetes but for another reason. So very happy to try this!
I have a question about Monk Fruit compared to Whole Earth “Stevia and Monk fruit blend”. Which is better.
th-cam.com/video/kcnGmKi3xms/w-d-xo.html
I just started using date sugar in my coffee and I am in love.
is there a big difference it taste from cane sugar?
@@artisanjames182 yes, but it gives it a richer taste. I prefer it over coconut sugar as well
Thanks for another informative video! I just ordered some Monk fruit.
Maple Syrup simply my favorite not cheap but use sparingly.
Bailey G i also wanted to try the monkfruit one but stuck with the pure erythritol one because its 0 calories.
You and Dessi are the best!! Her brownie recipe is amazing!! Got my book on preorder! I haven’t tried the monk fruit but I will soon!
Great video! What do you think about Truvia? Is Truvia keto friendly? Thank you
Catalina, I was wondering the same thing. Thought it was same as stevia 🤔
Contains erythritol
Hello, Love your videos. Do you recommend Palmyra Nectar / sugar?
COOL, so many sweeteners out there and many thanks Bobby for pointing out the dos and don'ts on what to buy and not to buy but.....there is one sweetener you didn't mention, or is it because its not that popular and the sweetener is Sorghum. A friend in rural North Carolina loves the stuff and is the only sweetener he uses, not sure if he got it from some Amish folks or some rural coop.
Hi Bobby and Desi, love your videos, LOVE your recipes! Always great taste never disappointed. Thankyou
How did we get here in life? Now I understand why some people go to 7-Eleven or am-pm to do their grocery shopping, there aren't that many choices!
Thanks!
But Bobby the monk fruit sweetener you recommend has a blend of erythritol? Is that still good?
Thanks Bobby and Art! I really appreciate all of your reviews and recipes. Changing the way we view healthy eating which tastes awesome. Loved all but especially the ketchup and BBQ sauce. I hope everyone will appreciate the time and effort you three put into this and will at the very least purchase their cookbook to help sustain these great videos, recipes and their. Ew family! Cheers

Excellent information. Thank you again Bobby
Great info. Thanks!!
I use Erythritol and have never noticed the cooling effect everyone talks about, luckily. I love it.
That biscotti looks amazing!
Same here. That's what I use. Didn't understand, what was he saying about body not being able to process it.
Yeah that really sounded like his personal reaction to it, which won't necessarily be everyone else's.
Is Allulose a good alternative for baking? Thanks.
👍🏼
Agree with you Sally, have been using Erythritol for about 6 months now and its definitely the best .... I think its also personal choice - it does not leave any aftertaste to me and I am really sensitive to all the others from a taste point of view ...Go try Erythritol!
Correct me please. I thought you said, on another video, that 1 gram sugar = 1 tsp sugar. That's not accurate. My conversion table says 1 gram sugar = .17 tsp. sugar. So, if coffee creme has 5 grams sugar, that equals .85 tsp. sugar, a little less than 1 tsp. Thanks.
Hi Bobby, I understand that Stevia is extracted from the leaves by use of chemicals. I quit using it. Am I wrong? Thank you
You’re not wrong. Artificial sugars are bad. Rather use dates powder/sugar & Raw Honey.
Do you have any Vanilla extract recommendations?
Pure is the best in any case in my opinion but I'm no expert. It's just more authentic (and expensive) than the bulk artificial ones. But it is usually used in small portions whichever way you go, so I feel like if you do bulk baking, using artificial might be more cost effective. But if you bake every now and then, pure vanilla would be a safe bet
lately i use keto sweeteners like erythritol and monk fruit for desserts. and coconut sugar organic for tea, coffee etc.
Why did you like Erythritol in the Monk Fruit blend, but yet you said later that you did not like using Erythritol because your body cannot process?
I bet you he doesnt answer this. Great question.
This is irresponsible behavior from him when we believe what he recommends, and he doesn’t care to clarify doubts 🤨
because this guy is a clueless idiot...
