It was especially sloppy out on this trail, as the spring melt is now in effect. Thank goodness my friend Everett was along for the trail run, operating my "Beast" Ford Truck. This RC Adventure was Crazy amounts of slip-slidin' around.. but was a blast to make!
Project "HD OVERKiLL" is built using utilizing 6wd, 6 RC4WD Evo Predator Tracks, 4 Brushless Roc 412 Tekin motors, 3 Gensace Lipo Batteries, and Amazing Vanquish Products outfitting this rig.. there will be NO STOPPING what it can do. THiS RIG IS NOT WATERPROOF, NOR is it designed for MUD. But, who am I fooling.. OF COURSE WE WiLL TAKE iT IN MUD!

This truck is NOT BUiLT FOR SCALE.. but instead Built to iNSPiRE iMAGiNATiON.
This project was a Re-build of of my Original PROJECT: OVERKiLL truck. The premise is basically the same, but HEAVY DUTY & AMPED up beyond all imagination. This project is not for sale, nor can you buy this in stores! A 1 of a Kind, and a masterpiece in the making. There are thousands of Hours into this project as a whole. The project Cost has YET to be determined but getting towards $6000 is a good guess. We will do the math a little later on. A special thank you goes to my team builders David JR (Master builder), David Senior (Project lead), and Grandpa Marvin (Master Crafter), for dedicating 3 months of time and efforts to this History Making Project. There has never been another Machine like this.. and everything is a prototype. We all know this is an ongoing project, and that the Mega Machine will never be truly completed. There is just too much potential. We will continue to play and have fun, creating exciting things for the world to be in awe of.

***** totally. that was how that sorta thing played out in my mind as a kid.. that looks so much fun, mud, wheelspin, winching... wow. the only thing... the smokestacks... kinda look weird pouring out smoke with the truck stationary... could they be rigged on your radio to the throttle? ie. hit the gas, truck smokes in sync.. thanks so much for getting that truck built in the first place! a Bob Chandler pat on the back for you..
Instead of putting 5 1/10 scale motors in it it would have been esiear just to put 1 1/5 scale motor

Some parts of the video reminded me of that film Joy Ride. It's about a deranged killer who drives a truck. There was scene where its completely dark and the unsuspecting victims think they have outrun the killer truck. They come out of their car and they look back, suddenly the lights of the truck come ON and then they know they are doomed...that was a terrifying scene.

Here i am in southern China, and watched the full video. Excellent Creation, Excellent Camera Work, an inspiration to all those who have the time to get involved in such a fantastic hobby. When i was young, we had the remote control, with a steering wheel, and a metal cable to the steering wheels, with a switch for forward / reverse and you had to walk behind. Then came the single channel, all Transistor based Radio Control.. haha.

Hello Charlie! Hey bud, thank you so much! To answer your question the smoke kit is actually an Oil Smoker. Much like a common "Vape". This is actually intended for scale Tug Boats. We added it to HD Overkill for smoke stacks and a "touch of doom".. haha! Really glad to read that you enjoyed this film. I did so many story style films when I started on TH-cam. It was a great experience!

Everyone knows it couldn’t possibly be done. Unfortunately the Traxxas would have several broken parts and would be inoperable before making it a quarter of the way through. 😄

Great little movie for a great little helper
Now THAT is an RC Truck! Down and dirty and can handle that thick gooey stuff like a pro. Loved seeing the mud fly. That semi with the smoking and tracks really put it over the top. I DO NOT even want to know what you spent on it. The sound system is kinda quiet. They have a sound system for the A1 Abrams Tank that would sound Soooo kick ass in that. It really would.
That was frigging outstanding, all of it. The trucks are awesome of course, the drivers did an amazing job, and that rescue scene was perfect(both of them!). The camera placement and angles, everything was really really nice. Great work guys!

Exactly! You nailed it.. you can see that there is still ice around.. it was realllly cold that day ;) almost freezing! This truck has 4 diesel engines.. thats why it looks like there is so much white smoke ; ) (in my imagination... !)
