Have listened to an abridged version of the book on YT and it has made me seek the book out. The last part once Honey and Bond are captured is super intense and made me wish it was left in the movie. I rewatch this one a lot based on the generic stripped down Bond movie this is. Have added you to my library, very entertaining listen. Finally one to add to my frequent Rewatch With Love rotation.😊
The scene with the towel - he wiping the kiss off of his mouth. It shows the audience how callous a character he is - he knows that this woman is his enemy, but he is going use her for sex anyway. That is what that scene is about.
Thank you for helping to take the sheen off Dr. No. I had wanted to see this film for the longest time, and when I did I was majorly disappointed. The three blind mice did nothing for me. Neither did the camerawoman. But Ursula Andress emerging from the sea? That saved the film somewhat for me. I don't have the DVD and I don't make any attempts to rewatch it. It's a film that is better left in your fuzzy memory since you tend to recall mostly the good points and not the bad. But then, you can say that about many of the Bond films.
