Bro just to share some knowledge. I live in Miami working in night clubs. Another banger is selling vape pens like Fumes selling for 25$ each. You can probably buy em whole sale for 5$ a pop. Over here people are addicted to them shyts

For new locations you should tape a piece of paper to the glass of the machine and have the customers write what they want on there that way you sell out every month

I fill machines at a Regional distribution USPS center In Westchester NY. There are 19 machines in total there. That place does great. It's not my company I'm just a route driver for a big vending company. I like watching smaller owners/operators doing it. You're great at sharing your journey.

Hey, quick tip for your new location, put up a qr code people can scan and send you suggestion of what they would like in the machines. It might cut down on the time you take to get to the best inventory.
I only say qr code cause it's the easiest way to get people to respond. The least effort it will take people to get a request to you the better. Also that way you can have the qr code be specific for the location.

At the post office it’s mostly people in their mid 40s/ 50s working so they’re most likely looking for healthier snack options and that’s why most of the stuff didn’t sell so I’d suggest putting stuff like baked lays and stuff like that and less sugary stuff but also don’t go all healthy stay in between

For a new location, put a comment box for suggestions on what they would like in that machine. Kind of a boutique vending machine for that location. Yes, you can customize machines for specific people in specific locations. I've seen office buildings with machines filled like that.

Also, have you considered do I unique vending machine. Where the only things in it are snacks and drinks from other countries. We have one where I work snd it only has chocolates and sweets from the USA. Although, I don’t know how easy it would be to get the confectionery in US of other countries.

Hey, I was wondering what was too far for a location. I am asking because there is a machine with a location available around me for a great price. It is 1 hour a day and I am wondering if that is too much. I don't think I would mind, but I do think it might be a bit far if it ever needs repairs or anything. Thanks!
if I ever decided to get into Vending, I would stick strictly with non-perishable beverages for the reason that they are less less likely to expire since they have a higher shelf life than any snack products. now people may argue that I would be selling myself short and cheating myself out of profits, but since I have autism, a high functioning form of autism, not what's depicted on television or in movies.There's only so much I can handle, and it's not all about money than it is about the time freedom since I am not able to keep employment for very long and everything is so fast paced, and I typically feel uneasy with people I would have to acquiesce or those who breathe out my neck and peer over my shoulder.

I looked at buying locations...but if the snacks are 2x markup on a location like this your net is like $700 monthly. If the location cost $8k, then it would take like 12 months to break even with no labor, waste, or repairs. That seems like a lot of work to *hopefully* get a return.
In the past 3 years I’ve been in vending, I haven’t had any major repairs. This is why I buy brand new equipment now with warranties 💯 10-12 months is a good time frame to get your money back but I don’t really look at that.
I look at the cash flow, the more machines out there, the more they will make a month all together (:

You can't go wrong with pastries for the new machines. People love sweet bread and pastries like cinnamon rolls and brownies and those kind of treats.
