I really wish we could try bikes before we buy them in the US, but most dealers don't allow it. It makes it a big risk to buy an expensive bike like the DX.
Hey guys! I have one, as well and I want to ask you do you have issues changing 5 and 6 gear in full power? Sometimes in full acceleration, 5&6 gear takes me back ( very jerky )
@@CanaryRide it’s a slight hesitation in full power while using the quick shifter. the hesitation is slight but being its in full power you can definitely feel it.
@@VP-pm8oi I have notice the same issue . Mine is about 5000 km and I have always had this little " gap " from 5 to 6 with quick shift. My dealer says it is normal : it is related to shift gear when the engine is under load or not. It s better to use the quick shift when under load not at low or constant RPM. In fact doing so it is way less evident : with the right RPM it even disappear . Or at least this is for me . Actually it works better from 2 to 5 . Cheers
come on you review enduro bike, which you never ride on offroad, it's like making review for sport bike and never try it on track. "girl reach the floor", she is not! emmergency braking in some curve, or side witn while stopped will end with bike on the side. there is multistrada for riders like you
Hi @jetcarq - the thing that this is a rental motorcycles and our insurance policy doesn't cover damages or problems outside of official roads. Therefore we are not renting it for offroad purposes, but I have no doubt that this is fantastic motorcycle for offroad and onroad as well. You can for sure find some good reviews, we just share our thoughts and yes we got also some Multistrada V2S! :)
Cool vid, thanks for sharing! If you ever get a chance to do an on bike review, that would be great to see also!
Will do!
Great review thank you 🙏
My pleasure!
i wonder if the rear wheel is interchangeable with Multistrada Enduro? would be cool if we can swap Mts Enduro's rear wheel to 18 just for the looks
Never had a thought about it to be honest :D
Good review. I pick up my bike this week but want to use my Givi top box. Be v interested to see how it works out.
We will make video for sure 🙂

oh damn yeah very common here in Europe that Dealer has demo bike. Anyway with DesertX I doubt't you would make a mistake. It is great machine!
hi, what kind of top case do you plan to put on it
We are waiting for the original Subframe from Ducati plus to add a GIVI rack and Kappa/Givi topcase. Let's see if that works!
Great and how is the two up riding on it? I haven’t found a review about that and I am trying to decide between this or the africa twinn.
Ducati DesertX or Africa Twin? Whats your opinion? Thanks
Uff hard question. DesertX more aggressive and Afrixa better comfort :)

Hello 👋 can you briefly explain taking back? Like false neutral? Do you use quickshifter? Or without?

@@CanaryRide insurance policy nowhere cover offroad damages, but it never stop us from riding there, same thing with track
Yeah 😎 good for you mate. We just don’t rent it to clients for offroad use.👍🏻
