My kamon is "gosan no kiri ; 五三桐", my wife's family home kamon is "sasarindou ; 笹竜胆". Even now in Japan, kamon is used as a pattern of kimono and tombstones. A lot of beautiful kamon is one of Japanese traditional culture. I think the European emblem is also wonderful. In Japan, I think that it is characteristic that all families have "kamon". Thank you for your interest in Japanese culture.
Was the Tachibana clan just very small. The reason I’m interested in them, is because the have an interesting name, and are one of them more obscure clans out there. Is there jus5 not that much information on them?

Yako Andrew aw, you're a hapa? I'm a full, living in America as the 4th generation Japanese American. Pretty much the most rare type in this time. It's gonna be hard finding a full Japanese wife for me in America though.
@Dimensionaluk Yeah, I knew this would start a flame war but, hey it's fun. Also, thanks I didn't know about the Buddhism had that symbol, but Social Studies doesn't teach me everything about china.
my favorite Daimyo Clans Hosokawa and Shimazu. isn't it music from the 2002 movie The Twilight Samurai also daimyo lasted from 1467-1871 samurai lasted from 940-1877 shogun 1192-1867
I'm Spanish but my surname (it comes from my mom's family side) is 'Hito'. I kinda discovered that it may be japanese but I'm not sure at all. Does someone know about it?
I read that in Spain, there's a village where some members of a Japanese envoy team travelling to the Vatican in 16th century decided to stay and naturalize, for an unknown reason. So it's not entirely impossible.
you know I noticed a lot of the symbols for the clans are exactly the same as crop circles around the world so i'm thinking if you know what the symbols for each clan means then you might can figure out what the hell the things doing the crop circles are trying to say but aren't coming off quite right because people now forgot what all the stuff meant and the others who do know, don't tell others, they keep it secret that's why these people below can't find anything but bare vague facts about their own heritage
It's listed the major clan during the Tokugawa shogunate (Edo period). Oda clan lost its power during the Honnoji incident then the Toyotomi take over the power. During the Reign of Toyotomi they wiped out several major clan opposed to them such as the Hojo. After Hideyoshi Toyotomi's death the power struggle between Toyotomi and Tokugawa is inevitable, leading to the battle of Sekigahara which is won by Tokugawa and then Siege of Osaka where Tokugawa wiped out the Toyotomi. Most of the clans opposed to Tokugawa during its process is either wiped or stripped out of their land.
@@bullworthstudent9328 Nobunaga's heir is Nobutada whose died with him in Honnoji. After Nobunaga's death Nobukatsu and Nobutaka tries to take over the clan (but the real power struggle is between Katsuie Shibata, Nagahide Niwa and Hideyoshi Toyotomi). So the Oda retainers arranges an event called the Kiyosu conference where Katsuie supported Nobukatsu while Nagahide supported Nobutaka, and then Hideyoshi comes up with 3 years old Sanboshi (Hidenobu Oda) whose none other than Nobutada's son and Nobunaga's grandson, the true heir of the clan. Since then Hidenobu Oda took rule the clan by name, but the real power hold by Hideyoshi Toyotomi as his guardian. Isn't there a confirmed album or book that lists all the +50k Kamons and crests in Japan that have been discovered?
The logo of Mitsubishi comes from the crest of Yamauchi
It’s actually combination of two crests, one is from what you mentioned and the other is from his family “iwasaki”.
the swastika originally came from the buddhists
now stop spamming
its a good video and if you don't like it why did you look it up
Lizard Da Gang stop lying it was hitler in a previous life
God looks like nazi logo
Hachisuka Klan Logo
Actually it came from Hinduism
There is a reason buddhists shave their head like skinheads

Twilight Samurai was good..as are the clan crests.
Wonderful music
@Paris900000003 You do realize the swastika was taken from Buddhism right? Which was primarily the religion in Japan at the time.

Yako Andrew I didn't notice your comment. But if you're full Japanese and live in America, then we're basically the same.
+Mizushima Yoshino I'm Alaskan, Japanese, half White. my mother's half Japanese and Alaskan, my grandfather full...

Yako Andrew Um, what?
+eluxsus0195684 A rising samurai depends on the family clan...
Yako Andrew lol ok
Yako Andrew Same. Did you find any sources on these? I’d like to read in to that. Lmk thanks.

Hi, Cousin. You're related to two groups of Japanese. Depends on what part of Spain or South America.
In my country hito means catfish.
in the Philippines the word Hito is Catfish
Hito significa persona 人

No mention any Mon name..
matsudaira came from leyasou?i thought his real name was motoyashu matsudaira
symbol of shimazu clan is Tengri symbol. its very very old a symbol (tamga)
Of course it is. Everybody knows Turks are Japanese.
My family tree is villaquer is gone in 150 year ago
did you mean it? please tell me you just joking...
My godfather was a Date samurai
A name called the "bushi" "buke" "bumon" is more right than the name called "the samurai".
@N0WAR1337 what exactly is Nazism?
you dont need to answer
No Nazis, ist Hachisuka Klan
