I was born in the wrong era. The films and tv shows were so much better. Life was so much better. Women dressed nicely and men were gentlemen. I wish I lived in the 30s, 40s, 50s. Thank you for sharing this with us. I've subscribed.

The audio and visual were fine, especially considering that this is from a 1950 live performance. The plot and acting were fine. That you for sharing this episode.

Sono Asato, the actress who plays Louise, was born in Nebraska to a Japanese father and an Irish-French Canadian mother. She is still alive today, aged 98!

Rachel, those were great days but like anything, far from perfect. Especially before 1950. Think of the modern conveniences we take for granted and many of those did not exist back then. Even those that did exist were not everywhere, like air conditioning, indoor plumbing, and automatic washers and dryers. Housework, that today might take a couple of hours of work would take whole a day of backbreaking labor.
