Donalds version is masterful! I think it's the best one out there, his version is a little slower and really touches the soul....he is a true musician. Played beautifully.
He definitely isn't homeless anymore. The power of beautiful music is undeniable, especially being played....At the time, who didn't want to know who this guy was.
I have watched this video countless times and every time I watch it I can only think of the dedication and devotion and that for a moment this world is just a simulation and the piano is the perfect stage combined with the great talent, I pray to God to keep him on the right track. After being featured on the news, many have donated for his recovery and a place to live and regain his life. I have always been a hair;s width away from similar circumstances, but what can NEVER be take from us is anything beautiful that we can share. Music, kind acts, experiences of being in far away places, etc.
The reason why that I am watching this video is because that I can play the piano to and I have been playing the piano for 4 years now. This man is very talented. So what I have learned is that some homeless people can be talented. Ps. I heard that when you play you will have a lot of credit and you would have a very good amount of money!

I feel more than the words Styx wrote convey; its a conversation between me listening to a voice that somehow speaks through this one, in just his homelessness. I name IT the Larger Domain, but some others have different names for IT, who speaks not to just this man but all of us, living in a fancy home or on the street.

I read someone heard this ( EX MARINE ) play and offered to help him get a record deal.... Wonder where he is today, He was looking for his son he hadn;t seen for sometime.... We never know what someone else is going through... He has been living for 10 years on the street....
