Regarding for an "Artbook" - extreme dissapointment.......what were they thinking? It is beautiful yes, but waiting for soooo long for a 700+(?) tiny images, crazy layout and so on is redicoulous... I wish I had 90s real Artbooks :( They better be reprinting those in modern time but no, mission impossible...

I commented here to another person already, that they could create a bunch of books such as:
1) SM Concept manga/anime artbook?
2) SM those marveoulous bright 90s manga artbook, maybe divided to 2-3 books;
3) SM ALL collabs+all merch till published book year+I donno what else...some bonus special arts perhaps so it won't be boring with just merch and ads...?
Something like this would be great! With ~A4 page format? I have a lot of different artbooks, 200+ pages too, I checked them right now to compare and omg how much better layout they have?! 😫

Why authors of game/cartoons/different anime can create a book or several books with a lot of visible images and SM authors can't? And morover - they announced that they will create an artbook how many years ago? 10? God... 😓

Thank you for sharing! Yes, the layout is not perfect and her wonderful artworks deserve a bigger size but it contains many new illustration and is still better than no artbook at all. I though I'm gonna skip it but thanks to your video I'll get it.

I'm a super Huge collector and fan of sailor moon items, but when it comes to items that you really look forward to get your hands on, and you see this, it's pretty disappointing 😢.
If we compared them to the 90's art books, the books where super big, and the images are full pages, even with big posters are amazing. 😎
But this one in particular, it looks like a kid made a PowerPoint presentation, leaving a lots of blank spaces, it looks like they had rush and they just printed it, just to give something to the fans. I don't see love and dedication that should be given to Sailor moon fans. 😭
I don't even see Sailor moon Crystal images, it's more like all the images of the 90's books (vol, 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5 and the analytics), together with the ice skating designs and the museum new art 🥲
Toei should really focus instead to make the Sailor moon Eternal and Cosmos Blu Ray with subtitles and Dub for the rest of the world.🤔
It’s just the illustrations of the manga art not the anime, if you want the anime art you need to get the illustrations for the anime art. They are separate art books. This is all just from the Manga.

I just got mine and wanted to see what others think about it. So much complaining again.
I am a traditional illustrator myself and while I‘d prefer it in a bigger format and the layout is a little off I must say that I LOVE to see the full images up unto the unclean borders. Never seen those like this before.
Also to see what exactly the pictures were made for with the thumbnails of the actual covers etc. is so cool!
A really really nice addition to my collection.

Raisonne is very difficult to handle without damaging the book, particularly the spine. Also, the golden cover will stain easily if you handle it (fingerprints, etc).
I know what I am getting with my next paycheck ❤

I absolutely love and admire the new Sailor Moon artbook for this year and omg, it's truly beautiful and precious!!! I always have been a huge fan of Naoko Takeuchi's artworks for the Sailor Moon series just seeing the nostalgia and the beauty and the wonderful world of the Sailor Moon universe with the Sailor Guardians, the concept art of the characters and how the story came together is just so amazing from beginning to end and I love that this book expresses it too plus I also do love the new upcoming artwork for the Sailor Guardians that Naoko created just now for the museum too, so beautiful. I really want this one for my collection.

Well, well, well! I just got my book today, and as someone who owns 2 of the large hardcover original art books and the 'eternal' edition of the manga that has most of these artworks disbursed throughout it (and often displayed larger despite the form factor!) let me tell you this... I am grasping at straws trying to justify to myself why I needed this book and if I wasn't such a huge fan of Sailor Moon I'd be pretty upset

Idk what Peeple are talking about, I'm very excited I bought this. I have always wanted the Manga Art to sailor moon and I've never got the chance to buy the original Art book volumes. Ya the pictures are a bit small but in a way it makes it seem like a college of Art. Be happy that it's new and we are at lest getting another Art book. Because the OG art books aren't probably gonna be coming back. The are out of print. Ya it sucks but at lest there is a Art book out now with everything in one and not just cross 5 big ass vols. Be happy with that a new Sailor moon Art book is here! Finally! And im happy its not huge so can fit it on my shelfs😊

The Dark Kingdom Arc❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😭😭😭😭😭😭😭... My heart is crying and for the Sailor Senshis and for the Dark Kingdom(Of course I mean for Queen Beryl and the Four Shitennou❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭)! The manga is even more sadder than Sailor Moon Crystal. I am glad Sailor Moon Crystal changed some things from the manga. Dark Kingdom Arc is definitelly my favorite one ❤.
