We went to Paris in '18 and we went the wrong direction on the RER train to Versailles. We ended up 20 miles out and a guy on a construction crew helped us get on the right train going the other direction. The train stop had many tunnels and winding hallways and numerous tracks. We would still be wandering around if it wasnt for that nice man. He was the only guy on the crew that spoke English!!!
Hey guys. Traveling in your youth is what’s up. Young adventurous and fit. Hop on the trains 🚊 buses 🚌 or whatever. Climbing all these stairs. Oh. A double decker train. This is beautiful guys. The architecture, art, chandeliers, tapestries, Marie Antoinette’s escape door, the Versailles garden, the lake. Just beautiful. Get it with the Ooo La La’s 🙌🏼. 30minutes sitting on the metro? This is why can’t cut it close. But I forget. This was destination, not a cruise? 🤦♀️🤷🏻♀️. You laughing at Aaron’s near fall 😂. I definitely see with all the European vlogs. Being physically fit a must. Thanks for sharing and see you next video.
We were like ducks out of water. I know enough French to get by but I’m not fluent. We took the wrong train but some a number of people were guided us back to the correct train, and even stayed with us to make sure we got off at the right stop. We were so grateful for the hospitality of the French persons we came into contact with.
That’s exactly how it happened for us! I wish we would’ve talked about it more in that moment but we were so focused on getting to Versailles and not missing another train. One of the women got on the train with us and said “get off here” lol we were so so thankful for her! We might’ve said merci beaucoup a million times to her

Y'all are so cute! Great vid, too! I took my daughter to Paris for her first time in 2021. We only went to Versailles cos she wanted to go. I had no interest but ended up LOVING the Palace! We ate at the Palace restaurant. Best, most dreamy, amazing croque monsieur I've ever had!
So glad that you're navigating the commuter trains as well as the metro. Line C is a commuter train that is very nice, but the RER B to CDG, not so much, lol. I lived and worked in Paris for 8 years, it's my second home. Glad that you're enjoying my city and the palace is breathtaking. I hope that you saw the vastness of the gardens too.

I went to Paris last year and visited Versailles with a tour guide.
The sheer size and beauty of Versailles is incredible and absolutely breathtaking.
A great combination of gaudy and glamorous design.

Hi Kimberly! Yes, this is a 2nd trip. We stayed in France for five days total. We visited in February. I believe it’s much warmer now 😊
