Great location! My first stop in Rome many moons ago was the Pantheon. I cried in the Vatican. It's beautiful to see history come to life before your eyes.

When my late husband and I first visited the Coliseum, we were absolutely overcome with emotion. Neither of us ever thought we would be seeing it with our own eyes! Bucket List trip for sure! Favorite gelato flavor is Stracciatella (Vanilla w/chocolate chips)

We spent a 3 days in Rome a few years ago. I left my heart there and think of Italy often. The food was amazing. Next time, make sure to stop at a shop with meats. They will cut and let you sample. The flavor is out of this world.
So cool your AirBnB got you the car service, we had the same experience with AirBnB on a trip to Iceland due to Covid protocols 2 years ago, but hosts are so much better anywhere you go, I always book AirBnB now. Loved, Loved, Loved your video! I was there last month and was able to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, the Pantheon and the Colosseum. All awesome tours but it was so Hot!!!lol. It's like I'm relieving it watching your videos. The ride to the port was about an hour. We arrived at 10:30am and was on the ship (Carnival Pride) by 11:00am. Michael Buble, James Brown and Lionel Ritchie? 😂. Look at this tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Soo much history. How do you use your phone? You have the international plan? Time to eat. There’s someone sitting right next to you Kyra? The Basilica is regal and spiritual. The colosseum. Wow. Gotta be physically fit. 50,000? Glad this second meal was delish 😋. My favorite flavors of gelato are, first, pistachio, and then, hazelnut. Great minds think alike. I am so glad you got to experience these historical sites. Best Gelato is at Grom located at Piazza Navona. Favorite flavor is a mixture of pistachio and strawberry! Next time you are in Rome go to the St Peter’s Cathedral to see Michelangelo’s Pieta. The Vatican Museum so you can see the Sistine Chapel ( reserve tickets on line), Via Dei Condotti (Rome’s 5th Ave). If you want to see everyday people, head to the Prati area.

I am new to the AK family and so happy to have found y’all! My hubby and I leave for our month long adventures in Europe in 25 days and 5 of those days are in Rome. I am curious - how far in advance did you book your Coliseum tour? Also - I LOVED how positive you both stayed even with the delays. My hubs and I treated ourselves to first class for this trip and we are SO excited! Never flown in a lay down seat before! It’s our 17th anniversary trip. They were $27 per person and included entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill as well…unfortunately we just didn’t have time to do all of it. Enjoy! Watch your pockets at the Trevi fountain. It's a notorious pick pocket venue especially when it is crowded. Watch out for adult and kids that bump into you. The same goes for Pisa if you go there.

Yes Yes Yes love Rome ...we stayed at Princess Diana hotel and the views were amazing the double decker bus are great you can see everything in 24hours for sure and shopping is amazing

They were $27 per person and included entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill as well…unfortunately we just didn’t have time to do all of it. Enjoy! Watch your pockets at the Trevi fountain. It's a notorious pick pocket venue especially when it is crowded. Watch out for adult and kids that bump into you. The same goes for Pisa if you go there.

Yes Yes Yes love Rome ...we stayed at Princess Diana hotel and the views were amazing the double decker bus are great you can see everything in 24hours for sure and shopping is amazing
