      Its just like studying….start from basic and understand the reasoning of every move, then you can easily remember every thing

    • @davehumphreys1725
      @davehumphreys1725 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, if you are studying an opening like the Ruy Lopez, there are dozens of line of play, each one with its own reason for playing. So there are as many reasons as there are opening variations, and I come back to my problem that I can't remember all the different reasons behind each of the variations!!

    • @Shioning04
      @Shioning04 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@davehumphreys1725 When learning an opening you might try to start by playing a weak AI profile and slowly increasing its ability. Don't bother playing the middle or end game, just the opening. At first, just first five moves (or so), then 10, then 15. If you do this enough the moves will become like muscle memory. Just an idea.

    What's up Kaspa! Gotta tell ya that I love the channel and I'm very glad I discovered it! I've watched hours of your vids this week, and I subscribe. Just wanted to make a suggestion. Please slow down a little when you're going thru multiple moves. I've noticed that you have mistakenly called the white Queen a Knight twice in a row and just referred to the white K as the Queen. Believe me these are minor mistakes compared to other chess content creators I've seen, but that's literally my only suggestion- go a little slower.
