I've tried this opening on my chess app and after forking the queen and rook, instead of taking the knight, it just moved the queen and let me have the rook, but I still harassed it to death. It doesn't seem to work anymore, or I've forgotten the moves.

@@kaspachessofficial Sadly I'm quite inexperienced and don't know how to do that. I can't save or retrieve any of my games which is frustrating in itself. I did win the rook, and also the queen and other pieces before winning that one.

hi Kaspachess, under your "with the scotch gambit" segment of this video (starts at 8 minutes 49 seconds), you discuss the permutations and eventual checkmate moves of the Bishop C4 checked F7 square black king moving to E8 and E7 (which I have studied- thanku), but you don't in this video discuss the permutations of other moves that the black king can take. You say at the end of the segment that you have already made a video of this "unknown gambit" I have looked for this video under your channel but cannot find it- I want to study the other moves that the Bishop C4 checked F7 black King can make. Where can I find it? Perhaps if you paste a reply with the link? Great work thanku for the most digestible simple chess explanations. You are a gifted teacher. Keep it up.

I did subscribe but once again like every other chess video channel I have seen the very first game I played (this time against the Scandinavian defense) my opponent did not make a move that was covered in the video. In this case after I moved my pawn to D3 my opponent didn't take and instead moved his pawn to E5 (from E7 to E5).
It's incredible how this happens in every single game that these videos cover.

Hi, thank you for subscribing 💌
The whole purpose of gambits is "QUICK DEVELOPMENT + PIECE ACTIVITY", not necessarily trying to win fast.
So, if your gambit gets declined, never loose hope. You should aim at developing all your pieces as quickly as possible, before your opponent wakes up.
Watch out for the next video on how to continue playing declined gambits.
      Thank you!
