It actually was lol it was one of the few PlayStation2 games to support online co-op let alone a resident evil game to have 4 people moving around in a map

I was impressed with two things here. One: using the characters from RE: Resistance into this and one of them becoming the Nemesis we know. True we really don't know there fates as far as I can tell but from the way you explained it, this could be a possibility. Two: going deeper then ever before with how events began to unfold for the survivors on all sides, not just the characters we already know. Blood, sweat, bullets and we are not out of this yet. We wait now for chapter 2 as the story of raccoon city continues. The 2.0 version.
One: What gave me the idea was that in Samuel's Resistance bio he was an ex boxer. And that's the same background the Chinese manga gave Nemesis Two: The first time around I focused specifically on Kevin, but this time I wanted to give each Outbreak survivor their moments

@ourworlds atwar re survivor is canon, the island is mentioned in various games (re 0 and re4) that game needs a remake as it expands on the lore of the tyrants.

Like Samuel and Tyrone being turned into Tyrants (Potentially Nemesis and Thanatos), January working with Ben to get Umbrella info, or Becca potentially looking for those missing around the mountains and stumbling upon something she shouldn't have seen.

Thank you for doing this! I've always been crazy with how I play RE, obsessed with putting it all together chronologically, especially Raccoon City. Your previous videos helped me work out a lot of kinks and I loved how you filled in the gaps between games. I basically play the games along side of watching your timeline for an awesome experience and now I am happy I'll be able to fit RE2 and 3 Remakes in better. Can't wait for the rest, it will be awesome!
See that was getting me mad, how Valerie could look so much like Yoko and was supposed to be a completely different character, I'm glad that they acknowledged Yoko in the end. Also Resident Evil Outbreak is Canon, and I love that.

Damn, RE Oubreak 1 & 2 was just soo underated. Capcom miss the chance of remaking it, imagine you play this with your friends instead of Resistance (decent but not as good)
not only its fun to listen to something i love listening to being re imagined as both RE2 and RE2 Remakes tying together, but also filling in more of the Resident Evil Outbreaks in every chapter along with the characters. already looking forward to Chapter 2
I love these videos and the narrator's voice is just so relaxed it could be a god damn audio book. I loved the Outbreak Series and wish it would get a sequel, so I really appreciate the creator doing shoutouts to it, granted I feel like David and Cindy were just extras in it. All of the others seemed to get moments to shine story wise. I get that they're more everyday folks, but they lack any real connection to levels beyond Cindy finds extra shit in this map.
Best thing with REmake 2&3 is that the VAs are so into the series, happily appearing on Resident Evil channels and cosplaying their characters. It took Julia Voth years to cosplay Jill but Nicole Tompkins did so within a year, not to mention she's done other Resident Evil characters.
Eh, that might be, but they really dropped the ball with regards to Nemesis. Can be hard to make out what it's saying for a lot of the time, really it's only the fact it just says Stars that lets you know. That and the whole outfit change, sure in theory claiming it to be more practical is acceptable, but why should we care about making the outfit Jill wears being 'practical' when dealing with shit like a zombie apocalypse. In any case I suppose it is something that the VA's care about the series, but even that I can't really feel gives enough of a reason to consider them as 'fans'. Then again I'm just an embittered mid 20's something that tends to look at anything done to 'modern' standards with some suspicion. If only because how 'sanitized' things can be these day's when it comes to certain aspects. That or doing stuff like what they did with Nemesis and making it into a barely legible thing that looks like it is supposed to be menacing but doesn't quite feel the same as the original.
I've made Mr X leave you're family alone though I couldn't turn him off so told him to reach for the stars, thank you for all the hard work and fallowing though, love how you expanded on the Files survivors and on there point of view.
Love this fan interpretations and piecing together of the timeline of the Raccoon City outbreak. A lot of side stories, what if scenarios, and lore make the 9 hellish days in company town interesting. The outbreak series was ahead of its time and a underrated gem in producing rich lore outside the main games. This is my head canon of scenarios from 09/23-10/01 . Day 0: Operation Nest wrecker. Day 1: Outbreak Day 2: Hellfire Day 3: Wild Things. Day 4: The Hive, Below Freezing Point, and start of RE3. Day 5: Flashback. Day 6: A Day In Raccoon (cut scenario of file 3) and Underbelly. Day 7: Desperate times. Day 8: Start and end of RE 2. Day 9: Decsions, Decisions and End of the Road.
This is by far the most comprehensive timeline ever constructed for this series. Bravo, you should really be proud of this video series. Not a stone left unturned. Just found this channel but I'm for sure subscribing..

47:36 they're infected after all. just look at how those 2 merge into one! growing up RE outbreak were such of urban legend for me, as i was only familiar with the mainland RE when i was younger. i heard bits and pieces about the game being an online multiplayer game and the ZOMBIE ELEPHANT in the game among my friends.
I love the passion that you approached these projects with. I honestly hope we get another revision soon of some of the games now that 8 got DLC and 4 was remade.
i been rewatching playthrough and such and i just realized that her nightmare at beginning when she sees herself starting to become a zombie and shoots herself is a literal foreshadowing of her getting infected later on almost like she had a premonition. lot of people wondered where she gets that gun harness around her shoulders from at beginning it just appears from nowhere including the gloves, also on how she is able to survive getting thrown around by nemesis and come out only bruised. my guess is cause she is a former delta force member and likely trained to fight in such conditions, so her training probably helped her survive most of those beatings nemesis hits her with that would kill a normal person. also decided to rewatch this cause i just love Re and i think RE3 Remake is totally underappreciated and does not deserve the hate it has been getting for two years now

I agree too! I could make a petition, I want it to be remade like RE1 was, not over the shoulder, at least not sure 🤔 about it. The A.I. Is better, and would like it to be include a solo/story mode along with the multiplayer mode.

My friend you have studied the RE universe well. I think they should contact you if they want to make a good cannon movie in the future . It is not easy to make sense of all the lore in RE , as we can clearly see from what they did with 6 resident evil movies. Good job
I just re-watched this. I enjoyed it. 4D Executer leaves a compelling impression as a new story during the Raccoon City outbreak. That ending with the guy's face. Not the wretchedly demonic feel of RE7 (Thank God), but closer toward the intrigue of the original entries. I'd like to know what became of Dr. Cameron. If the series continues, I'd also be interested in knowing what happened to Billy Coen (RE 0), Ark Thompson (RE: Survivor), Hunk and even Maria Gomez (RE: Vendetta). Nice work.
Many have speculated that raccoon city was based on Springfield Missouri. I always thought Louisville Kentucky was perfect as raccoon city. It has the Jefferson memorial forest on the outskirts of the city and they are large hills that you can see in the distance from downtown. Also they had Waverly Hills TB sanitorium which gives you mansion vibes when you see it. Also Fort Knox is 30 mins to the south. It’s in the Midwest and it fits the size of Raccoon city.
Yooooooooo 44:48 brought back some found memories of playing outbreak online, I remember me and my boys would ambush the giant leech with the makeshift weapons David made, it took only mere seconds to kill it.
This mix actually reminds me of a fan video watched many years ago, which Leon and Kevin met each other as the latter saved the former. Guess its channel was lost and gone...I kind of feel concerned looking cross-title interaction stuffs before found this. Raccoon City is like the UC0079 for Biohazard/Resident Evil in my eyes. Especially thank you for remembering Outbreak, while Capcom just ignore and never make a 2-in-1 remaster which deserved.
I mean yes if you are possibly infected you do keep a gun nearby, just in case Zombie movies get things right, better to not turn, dead is better than zed Bob made the right choice
I just realized something. Dr. Cameron doesn't want world domination or anything like that. She wants to destroy Umbrella. What if Capcom made her the villain of a Resident Evil 9 or 10. Going after both Red and Blue Umbrella.
I really didn't mind operation raccoon city because it gave some nice prospective from diffetent parts of the city kinda makes you wish they did a resident evil game combining 2 3 and survivors just so we can see a lot more of the city

Edit:finally watched all of it and its I'm amazed by how you added the resistance characters in and doctor Cameron virus is horrifying and too OP, glad all she wants is to go back to being human though or else this was gonna be the thing all over again.Also great to see a different perspective to the outbreak characters even though it's sad that the police girl died apparently,then most of all Jill's revamp escape story,can't wait to see chapter two,great job like always!

I agree too! I could make a petition, I want it to be remade like RE1 was, not over the shoulder, at least not sure 🤔 about it. The A.I. Is better, and would like it to be include a solo/story mode along with the multiplayer mode.
Capcom definitely needs to get on that.

My friend you have studied the RE universe well. I think they should contact you if they want to make a good cannon movie in the future . It is not easy to make sense of all the lore in RE , as we can clearly see from what they did with 6 resident evil movies.

I just re-watched this. I enjoyed it. 4D Executer leaves a compelling impression as a new story during the Raccoon City outbreak. That ending with the guy's face. Not the wretchedly demonic feel of RE7 (Thank God), but closer toward the intrigue of the original entries. I'd like to know what became of Dr. Cameron. If the series continues, I'd also be interested in knowing what happened to Billy Coen (RE 0), Ark Thompson (RE: Survivor), Hunk and even Maria Gomez (RE: Vendetta). Nice work.
Many have speculated that raccoon city was based on Springfield Missouri. I always thought Louisville Kentucky was perfect as raccoon city. It has the Jefferson memorial forest on the outskirts of the city and they are large hills that you can see in the distance from downtown. Also they had Waverly Hills TB sanitorium which gives you mansion vibes when you see it. Also Fort Knox is 30 mins to the south. It’s in the Midwest and it fits the size of Raccoon city.
Yooooooooo 44:48 brought back some found memories of playing outbreak online, I remember me and my boys would ambush the giant leech with the makeshift weapons David made, it took only mere seconds to kill it.

This mix actually reminds me of a fan video watched many years ago, which Leon and Kevin met each other as the latter saved the former. Guess its channel was lost and gone...I kind of feel concerned looking cross-title interaction stuffs before found this. Raccoon City is like the UC0079 for Biohazard/Resident Evil in my eyes.
Especially thank you for remembering Outbreak, while Capcom just ignore and never make a 2-in-1 remaster which deserved.

The area that inspired Raccoon City was the Ozark and outlying communities and cities.
funny enough it used to be a small midwestern town and now it's usually depicted as a large city

I really didn't mind operation raccoon city because it gave some nice prospective from diffetent parts of the city kinda makes you wish they did a resident evil game combining 2 3 and survivors just so we can see a lot more of the city
Operation Raccoon City had a lot of potential. I loved it when it came out but some of those enemies were enormous bullet sponges.
