The crazy part is that this is the only reference video for a ball joint replacement on a 10th gen civic that I could find lol. Good job man and thanks for showing your work plus torque specs. Gonna try this soon!
For me, it went easier than what you actually did. I used the Japanese ball joint separator, which is thiner than the European one ' the one you used, I recon'. I installed the ball joint from the knuckle side and I then I alligned the lower control arm and fed the bolts through which was super easy. What I notice is that driving felt firmer on road imperfections than stock ball joints and of course quality is surprisingly good.
Great video! Im running bags in my 19 accord and im maxed out on my camber plates (-1) degree. I order some spc lower ball joints awhile back and thinking of installing it for more camber with the hope of achieving anothe (-.5) of camber. From your video i might as well go with the low life lower ball joint extension plates instead
Give's a bit more grip in the front around corners since there's more contact with the tires. But coilovers would probably an easier and more noticeable difference
The video was worth it as it helped me with a standard replacement. Thanks.

10th gen civic video is still helpful! Accord just has less room to press out that ball joint with our axles being larger

Ah, didn’t know those were a thing! Mine was a last minute grab from autozone I had to work with what I had 😅

For the install effort and minimal camber gain, it’s not entirely worth it 🤣
Have you aligned it yet? Get the car aligned ASAP!
Thanks bro
Awesome video
So this is how you’re getting more front camber?
Yep, 5 hours of pain just for .3 degrees 😭
Does it make a difference in driving?
