- A trip halfway across the globe and the teachings of two renowned entrepreneurs set Duncan Moalosi Serapelwane on a path back to farming - one he vowed as a child he’d never walk. Today this former teacher is a Bonsmara stud farmer and has found meaning in making a name for himself as an elite breeder of these iconic red South African cattle.
This is reclaiming the true independence and self determination as Afrikan people. If we can feed ourselves and the world then we can truly say we are free at last.
This should be our default profession and calling

I agree with you Mukoma wangu, totally
This is how we become rich.
Our parents grew up aspiring to be nurses and teachers, but I think this is what we need to aim for.
What a touching and an eye opener story, we Africans we can do it if we set our minds and will on what we want. Kudos.
Love from my country Sudan
3:32 well said by Duncan, been watching Chinese farming, turning desert land into arable land, utilising every piece of land they have there not forgetting the competition and wondered WHY THE HECK we FAIL to utilise the vast fertile lands we have in Africa as a whole with amazing weather conditions as a bonus in most parts.l realised why the Chinese come to Africa and see vast opportunities and THAT really changed my mindset as well. I'm in the process of setting up a plan, raising capital and plan to go back home to Zimbabwe to start farming. Thank you also for this, learnt a lot. 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
PLEASE DO:) And All the best my brother!!!!!

industrial Hemp is used to make a variety of commercial and industrial products, including rope, textiles, clothing, shoes, food, paper, bioplastics, insulation, and biofuel. It could save the world
I would like to reach out to the giant Mr Duncan. I would an aspiring breeder most especially bonsmara.
Hi do you guys sell cattle
Would love to know why nguni cattle isnt as popular as bonsmara cattle in commercial farming
weight and carcass yield. they also take a bit long to mature.
Nguni are small and their price is law when it ces to the market, commercial farming is about making money, nothing else.
@@josephnakale7343 I was just trying to understand why it wasn’t as commercially viable. I wasn’t trying to infer anything else. As far as price being low that’s artificially created by the market, pride can change when the consumer market attributes value. Now the point of yield is I think the more important factor. I wonder if they can’t be used for specialty meats category, do they have particular taste that would set it apart?
The Afrikaner/Dutch farming methods in SA !! Bonsmara Cattle ,hunting and wearing the kaki clothes speaks volumes !!
If you don't like how they dress live the party.
Every human Being dresses the European way. But because it's SA haters shall arise 🤣
Dont u offer online training
