- (There's a few typos in the Blitz Striker section, I kinda rushed it)
I mean really... You got a whole team of people and have been developing the game for years and can't even make your own unique designs.
For the record, I don't hate the game, but I did stop playing after the recent update when they made a separate branch for "last-gen" pc users instead of just taking the time to properly optimize the game. Really shows how lazy they are. Also the ridiculous amount of dlc content and miscellaneous content(Comics, merch, etc). It's really disappointing.
This is going to be my one and only YT video. I sort of only wanted to vent this out and share it with you all.
If you really love dragons simulator games, please consider supporting other and better dragon/creature games instead.
you Missed one the Hybrid dragon also. But the Day of Dragon devs have had enough criticisms and I only call copying if it looks almost the same but Smog and the Flame Stalker are both iconic dragons.
You forgot the hybrid dragon which is just CloudJumper

Appreciate your opinion I also noticed that but after researching it and all they are more inspired then copied, and to be honest I have no problem with the wyvern and its ability I saw a lot of dragons make fire out of their scales I say instead of all the bad talk about dod we should have patience and wait for the best hopefully
Well the blitz has to have claws in the same place as the skrill cause thats how itll conduct lightning
i dont even play the game but i think these comparisons are silly. you can find a thousand similarities between any 2 things but that doesnt mean they are copies.
Yeah the designs are just copywright freindly versions of popular dragons in media but god dammit I wanna play as a monsterous nightmare and nobody can stop me! :P

Blitz can use lightning, wow such a copy!
And the Singe Crest has no features close to the Ikran. An ikran has dragon fly like membranes on the ends of their wings, their crest is on the chin not the head, and they DON'T HAVE FEET while the Singe sits and walks like a raptor. Be real
SS is the most blatant display of pure lazy design. You should have seen what the SS used to look like. It "somehow" managed to morph into the SS we know now. Even the teeth are retractable. There's no reason other than to mimic Toothless right down to his iconic feature that even gave him the given name.
Now compare the single crest to the toruk

At least the shadow scale and night fury are slightly different(different blasts),but the blitz striker is just sad.
Personally i think SC looks more like the Toruk than the ikran,,
well to be fair , there are no other dragons game such good in realistic and mechanicism like Dod tho its just so real . Its just like how the PoT and the Isle have so realistic dinosaurs game based
The Original Smaug was a dragon NOT a wyvern..
You're right for the power /Capacity but the dragons has a big differences.
Like for night fury, the tail/head and "spike" on the back aren't the same.
omg who cares the devs themselves literally said they are massive HTTYD fans and the designs aren’t even copies themselves can you find something else to hate on , people always have something to complain about 😂 god forbid some people are inspired by an extremely popular media 😢😢😢
You should have seen the earlier designs for the SS. They were going for something original, then said "screw it, just trace over toothless and call it something edgey."
They gave up being original because they got lazy.

Like, a copy would be if they just took out all the features that made the dragons different and then then just named them to be the same as httyd, but they’re actually taking inspiration from the httyd dragons and making them different
@@maxximus6418You clearly didn’t read the text at the beginning of the video. Before you’re quick to throw assumptions that I said every single one is a copy, please read what I said. I never said they were all copies.

@@maxximus6418 It says what it says. Congrats, you can read words. I did include EVERY copy. But that doesn't mean every single one included IS a copy. Again, if you read the text at the beginning of the video this would make sense to you.
