Good lord. This place is like Disney land for gardeners. So many varieties to see. As you both said, the combinations are inspired. Thank you for the tour!
Love White Flower Farm. I've bought many plants from them and have never been disappointed. When I started gardening I bought a few of the planned gardens from WFF. It helped me learn.
Good morning Jim and Stephanie. 😮 that weeping Beech is STUNNING 😍 Thank you for taking us along on your vacation. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊
Thank you for the tour of White Flower Farm. Everything I have ordered from the catalog has come to me healthy well packaged fresh and has survived. Now I want to go there.
WFF has gotten a lot of my money over the years; for good reason! 😊 Jim, I love that you called out the size of that “dwarf” evergreen. That’s a message that sorely needs to get out.
The White Flower Farm catalog came in the mail every year when I was a kid and I always wanted to visit there. Haven’t made it down there yet, so thank you for bringing White Flower Farm to me. Those are my plants. And yes, beech leaf disease is here in the Northeast and it’s a sad thing to see.
So cool to finally see the Emerald Atoll. Ordering from you guys over 30 years and you are the best! A visit is definitely on my bucket list! Thanks for the tour! 😊
When I first started gardening over 30 years ago, I bought my first lilacs and 100 daffodils from White Flower Farm. Thanks for the sharing this beautiful garden with us. Would love to visit it!
When we built a home on Cape Cod I bought a lot of plants from White Flower. We had visited the nursery before and I wanted one of everything. When we moved South, I brought some plants with me and they are still doing great.
I love White Flower Farm! I have purchased from them for over a decade and read their catalog like it’s my bible! Never knew you could visit them. I might have to make a special trip there. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing how many of those plants in the video that we also love to grow over here in Ireland. Come to think of it guys, when are you touring over our side of the pond anyway? 🤞😂❤️
This is by far my favorite tour of another garden other than yours that you have taken us on. Beautiful! And those hydrangeas!!!! I’m in the big head family as well and would love to have hydrangeas with blooms as big as my head!😆😎
So pretty 😊 I used to live in Litchfield (charming town) and would drive by this place everyday, but I didn’t garden at the time… this video has convinced me I should get back there for a visit!
The sheer amount of different plants is astounding; so, so beautiful this time of year too still. Thank you for sharing, guys. I know where I'm headed if I ever find myself in CT!
Thanks for the video -- Many years ago I had a place about a half an hour south of WFF so am a long time customer (now via the internet). At that point I wouldn't have known who Christopher Lloyd was and I didn't know he and Fergus did the original design --so interesting and inspiring.
Gardens at Post Hill used to be near WFF. GPH sells cypripedium and other unusual outdoor orchids. Does Stephanie remember them before GPH moved to WA?
I'm pretty sure the lace cap hydrangeas around minute 26 are Haas Halo. I bought my 3 Haas Halo hydrangeas from White Flower Farm. Pollinator magnet! Jim and Steph, you need one!
@@JimPutnam Lime Rickey is also high on that list. I have one. It grows in a perfect rounded shape, has interesting, big green flowers with pink centers, and it doesn't flop. I would like a few more of that plant, but I think Proven Winners discontinued it. I'm really enjoying watching your travels!
Great tour! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! So many wonderful plants and combinations. I’m sorry Ninebarks don’t do well for you in the South, they are one of my favs in the PNW. I also have a young Golden Shadows pagoda dogwood. Mine is still small but I hope it will become a start in my garden. Such beautiful form and variegation.
I have a group of Hakonechloa from WF that is stunning. But I have to ask- do they have a 24/7 security detail to keep the deer away from that shade garden? If they use a repellent I would dearly love to know what it is.
Wow, inspiring and of course I signed up for a catalog. My mind's eye now has a roadmap for a border garden! BTW if you’re still up north, the Bayard Cutting Arboretum on Long Island is a worthwhile stop.
Jim, Steph,
Loved this tour--thank you!!! 😊
Good lord. This place is like Disney land for gardeners. So many varieties to see. As you both said, the combinations are inspired. Thank you for the tour!

Anything Lloyd and Garrett does is amazing! Very beautiful and so many great combinations!
Gorgeous gardens and I love all of the varieties! The winds and the fact that everyone is in long sleeves get me so excited for fall!
I love White Flower Farm. My husband and I visit whenever we’re in the area and their gardens are always so stunning. Great video!

It was also near the top of the list in the MT. Cuba Trial!

Beautiful
How is it possible that my Beautyberry is more colored up in north Georgia? It's only started to cool this week. Beautiful color display there!
Great video!!
WOW beautiful tour! So many awesome plants together I love this!

beautiful!
Those borders are the best.
White Flowers Farm has one of the many garden catalogs that I receive in the mail. The tour here is like a panoramic view of their catalog covers!
Wow, inspiring and of course I signed up for a catalog. My mind's eye now has a roadmap for a border garden!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Absolutely beautiful.
One of my favorite hydrangeas in the moon garden was the Haas halo
Gorgeous Garden
BE🌸UT🎋F🌻L‼️
Bummer I live right near WFF. Wish we could have gotten together there.
What was that beautiful bright red plant when Stephanie was showing the garden? It was in the front.
Jim, on this video at 32.58 there is a gorgeous variegated plant with bright pink blooms, can you tell me what it is?
Shoot I wish I knew you were there!
Will thesr plants work up north in Vermont?
What was the variegated foliage in the shade garden with a dark pink or red in the center? Was that a variegated impatiens or vinca?

White Flower Farm has wonderful healthy plants but they are very high priced.
I used to order from them yearly, then they got way too expensive for me.
