It’s ok if you can afford to buy one!!! I know I’ll never be able to buy one

What you fail to say is that in rapid charge mode the 75kwh battery takes less than an hour to charge. This ibformation is vital.

My van takes less than 10 minutes to "charge"!

Maybe but you are polluting the planet.

Wow! A whole 200 miles (max in reality)! And at £100k (van and conversion) Too stupid for words.

We have the Vauxhall version of this van as a campervan and have just completed a two week holidsy in Normandy and the range was never an issue. Travelled over 1000 miles at a quarter the cost of diesel.

@@lynnebarnes7680 So, from Dieppe, it is 177 miles to Arromanches. One full charge if you are lucky. And then if you are just pottering about, you may well get a few days on a charge. But that is not what campers are used for! (If yours is used like that, you are missing out!) Plus, the price tag for a conversion is minimum of £25K on top of the van at £70k. Then you need to buy H&C running water at £1.5k plus all of the other extras.
It is totally impractical in the winter, it has to be a camps site only and we have started to see big charges on sites for charging EV's so that will only spread. Great for cars maybe, especially if you want a weekday runabout, but campervan? You have two weeks to have a holiday, you want to go to Narbonne Plage on the Med. I can do it is two days and one fill that takes 10 minutes. I can do it quicker if I up the pace. How long would it take you...

    Absolutely useless

Why do you say that. We have the Vauxhall Vivaro version of this van and it is brilliant. Explain why you think it is useless.

Just 1 leg of my last journey was 400mls. I have no wish to get on a campsite and need a charge prior to getting a hot drink down me. I have driven many EVs, very nice to drive but totally unpractical.

@@MrWood222I think EV’s are ok for cars where you drive locally but not practical for campervans and motorhomes.
