What vehicle is it built on
Is a Diesel available? An 8-speed automatic transmission? AWD? All-terrain tires? Also, does Hymer build camper vans for the US market?
Hymer did open in the U.S. by purchashing Roadtech an outdated relic of the past, made no changes and pulled out of the market in less than two years. What a surprise. Had they simply imported this compact motorcoach and changed nothing but the drive they could have owned the U.S. market. Certainly missed the mark by a country mile.

It is powered by the Fiat Ducato Euro VI turbo-diesel. It's a 2.3-litre with four outputs (108, 128, 148 and 177bhp) but the vast majority of motorhomes are built on the 130bhp as standard with options to upgrade to the higher outputs. There is also a robotised manual gearbox offered, which suits those looking for an automatic gearchange system.

The United States is so far behind in the small rv/campervan arena! These UK manufacturers could make a killing if they would open dealerships in the U.S. and offer a left-hand drive version. Not all of us Yanks think that bigger is better!
(Heck, look at our president, we can't afford the bigger anymore.)

Yes we're sorry about this; some maintenance has been carried out to the channel (mainly to the thumbnails, descriptions and channels) and some videos have been switched to other channels, which means they have been inadvertently repoosted as new videos even though they went live several months ago. Most of the updates have been done now, so there should be no more older videos being reposted as new.

The price is at the start of the video £42,250. That was new in 2016. Today the prices have gone up significantly. Travelworld has a new automatic 314 for £63,507 but the list price at the start of the season was £51,750. Dont think for a moment that a robotised manual is an automatic-rented one fro a weekend-ghastly.
We have vans with slide outs... how about slide ups? Having living room , kitchen and bathroom at ground level and bedroom upstairs. No restriction for height , loads of room double the size , but short in length for driving/ferries etc. Maybe i should market it.. lol
