To be honest the dramas are kinda made up qing harem and quart where very peaceful no child killing because every step of anyone was recorded food sleep places etc so it was very easy to track down if anyone kill anyone and hes muslim consort got along with everyone and he didn't spoil ler

@@doreensika837 Not mixing dramas, even though I like the dramas. I’ve researched a lot. My personal opinion about him is negative. It’s more than just the way he treated some consorts, but the fact that he gave his son a falling, opium addicted empire also makes me mad. But I mean…it is history though. As upset as I get about it, I can’t travel back in time to change it.

I've been following this channel for sometime now and I must thank you for making so many great biographies of historical figures. I especially love your videos about Korean history. Consort Wang's life was truly sad but her soul had the last laugh. In the end, Emperor Wanli was buried with the two women he had hated and mistreated when they were alive, his Empress and Consort Wang.

@@kasvinimuniandy4178 Yes, what a coincidence that turned out to be but to be fair to Emperor Wanli, he was not the worse person in the Ming dynasty. Many members of the Ming imperial family had a violent nature. A servant could be killed with no consequences. It was a violent time during the Ming dynasty.
