#ebay #reselling #thrifting #poshmark #mercari
I sell mainly clothes (a small amount of plush thanks to you!) but I have everything on eBay, Poshmark, Depop and Mercari. Here are my percentage breakdowns for how much I have sold on which platform this year alone:
eBay - 58%, Poshmark - 25%, Depop - 10%, Mercari - 7%
So, it's not much, but with the new fee's policy I decided to hold out till the end of the year and see if that makes it worth keeping up with Mercari. If that percentage doesn't rise, I may drop them at the end of 2024.
Surprisingly nobody commented yet on the picture of you and the doll. I was cracking up. So funny. 🤣😂🤣
Fred Penner is a popular Canadian children’s entertainer. Google should have told you that?🇨🇦
Our last reseller Meetup was really fun. I love everyone at our meetings meetings. I sell a number of things on mercari and, as you know, I am not a big clothes or shoe Lister. Most of my stuff is vintage and or decor. I bought a doll like that for my daughter when she was little. Seems like it might have freaked her out a little, especially when I told her that's what she looked like when she pouted and cried.😅
I would never have thought to ck if a brass vase held water.
Lost elasticity? Drying out?
I write that the elastic is overstretched or broken down.
Great video & sells! The doll was amazing! So unique. I list & sell everything on Mercari: toys, books, clothes, house wares etc. For "dry rot", I like to say something like "it is losing its elasticity / the elastic is "tired" and it no longer springs back". If it the elastic is mostly gone, then I will state "there is very little to no elasticity" / "elasticity has completely gone away".
Thanks for the tips!
Elastic has degraded due to age of article.
Disintegrated?
Great video this week! I like your thoughts on taking the $10 offer. I struggle sometimes on taking offers and making counter offers, so I appreciate your thoughts on that. Love your channel!
Yep, Check everything! Daughter & her BF were helping me with a storage unit. The drawer he went through had some plastic thingy's that looked like nothing. Checked just in case. Made $200! They had something to do with photography lights. Thanks for the video!
I sell on mercari, its slow but mostly my sales is Posh, i have to post more on ebay, i try not to give up cause of the sales, everyday you learn what people are looking for and its fun and a leaning experience, but dont give up on the platform. thanks rebel for all you do,
I sell clothes and I don’t do too bad on Mercari. I would give it a try if you already sell other items there. I do try to promote 10 items a day and send offers to likers. Haven’t done the auto promotion yet.
I crosslist to mercari most items that’s under 2 lbs. Clothing is a hit or miss, I’ve only had 1 sale since the big change
Mercari is horrible sellers trashing other sellers in listing comments ugggh but that won’t stop me will keep selling on Mercari
For the worn out elastic I just put that it is stretched out and needs to be replaced. I don't like the word dry rot either even though that is what it is...lol.
That intro, haha! Great sale. Make sure to put creepy and haunted in your title with a doll like that.
I sell clothes on mercari and everything else. Its worth it.
QQQ Thank you for sharing you guys have a blessed day in the name of Jesus Christ. The wife and I are thinking of starting a second platform to sell on. Which of these would you choose to do first makari, Etsy, Bonanza.
I would do Mercari or Poshmark before the others. Bonanza is super easy though but very few sales.
I mainly sell clothes and put everything on eBay posh and mercari. Mercari tends to sell the lower tier brands but pretty quick. So old navy, boutiques or novel items like Winnie the Pooh top or SpongeBob top. I also sell like life is good tees there. I price about $5 higher than eBay turn on smart pricing so it promotes it with every drop and stop the price about $3-5 under ebay(no fees) this method seems to work pretty well for me
Thanks for the input. I like that idea about using smart pricing. I think I'll start doing that on all of the items I cross list.
Thanks for your time and video. I would have never thought to mention if a brass vase held water. Nice sales. Funny. I have 20 pr of ladies jeans listed for over 2 months and not s nibble.😊
Outstanding cover shot & intro!
I put everything on Mercari. Clothes, dishes, home goods. I also send out offers to likers as they pop up. I've had some surprisingly great sales. Slow this week though.
Me too. Clothes sell well on Mercari.
Funny Thumbnail! Thanks 2 R!!
Elastic deterioration
@TheRebellReseller saw ine video from adhdave and you had a gopro in your chest what system do you use because I see no straps just curious
It's a magnetic necklace holder for GoPro cameras. We bought it from Amazon.
Creepy doll indeed. Great video,Rebel
Have you seen the Cheerful Tearful doll? Her face is unsettling!
I had to go look. Very similar!
I sell clothes on mercari but all sites have been slow.
🥳🥳🥳 Always learning new stuff guys!! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!

Omg that doll is so cool
Well great sale on that doll but it’s a creepy doll but someone really wanted it so that’s good.
Great doll!
That last doll! 😆 🤣 😂
What do y’all use for filler in your boxes? Paper? Air pillows?
We bought an air pillow machine and use those. We were buying air pillows for about 6 cents each, but making them costs about 1 cent each. The machine was about $150 or so. The breakeven point is about 3,000 air pillows and I've made about 15,000 so far. Saving lots of money with it. I listen to a book or podcast while I'm making them so it's an enjoyable process. There's a link in our video descriptions to the machine we use.

@@TheRebelReseller Nice!!
I started with clothes on Mercari. They used to sell as a good supplement to posh, depop and ebay. Now that there are no seller fees, I have gone back over my Mercari listings and reduced prices to "match" sold prices (I hope to get) on ebay. For instance, on posh I may list a Chico's blouse for $25 hoping for 20. On ebay, $24.98 with a 10% offer to watchers most likely. On Mercari, I just list it as $20. I rarely send more than ONE offer on Mercari now per liked item. So, I list everything on Mercari but I am not as active as I was before when I had to account for seller fees. As an aside, Mercari has all but slowed to a halt with buyers but the likers are out in droves...they are just not buying. Also, my posh is making money WAY over ebay for me this month. Never has done that before. What is going on???
Also, I call a dried out elastic on clothing "dry rotted".
Yes I sell clothes on mercari
It's hit or miss for clothes on mercari for me' the few articles of clothing i have sold on mercari has either been vintage(for good money) or weird tees that get snap up pretty quick. but i also i only have a few pieces of clothes there.
I think the Saucey doll is cute. Great sales. Thanks for sharing Rebel!
Great sales Rebel. Last nights meet up was so much fun. I’m thankful you all had the idea to start the group ❤️
Hi Rebel. Yes it is worth selling clothes on Mercari. I just sold a shirt and pair of jeans on there today
I sold a few dolls that their legs were loose, because the rubber bands had become stretched out. I included a picture of the rubber bands.
Is it just me or does it seem like the plush are almost always a disappointment for her?
For who?? I love plush!
@@TheRebelReseller I just started following you so maybe I need to watch more videos. I was getting nervous about buying plush because you seem disappointed. No offense meant at all.
Right now, I'm trying to get rid of old inventory so I'm taking lower offers than I normally would have taken on those listings. I hope you're still watching and enjoying our channel. We love selling lots of different things, but I especially love selling plush. :)
@@TheRebelReseller every single episode! I love your channel and you and your husband have the most adorable relationship. We should all be so lucky!
Yes that doll is Twilight Zone worthy!
Non-working elastic on pant waist.
That was one creepy opening
I think… at one time Triruss was sold at Target. I had one years ago that I sold that had the hang tag on it that identified it as being from Target.
Good info, thanks!
i have a twisted weird wiskers 🤨
I say the elastic has lost its elasticity
Howdy you 2
🙂💜
