      @@ReleaseMyKrakken - Of course, Most "Businesses" are "Way More Complicated" than they look!
      What was particularly Complicated with This Idea? Up Front Paper Work, Permits, Fencing, Security, Insurance, Build Cost, Cash "Float", Credit Card Merchant Accounts, Financing, Land Costs, Advertising, or What?
      I mean, Compared to a Car Wash, or a Laundromat, this seems like Less Ongoing Operations Cost and Services Management, to me, anyway! Yes, Staffing, is a requirement, typically, for at least this "Front Office" aspect, but - you get to set the days and hours, and can use a website and videos, to present your storage business information (Something that was not so easy, 30 years ago!), and today there are lots of ways to do payment, like Credit Cards, or Bank Debit Cards, Via PayPal, A Moneris or other Merchant Account, etc.

    Using these as a self-storage unit, how would you recommend preparing the ground? Can you just put them on flat ground or do you have to put the corners on pylons?

    • @robertweekley5926
      @robertweekley5926 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That will depend on the level of service you wish to have or offer. Screw Pylons Exist, Concrete Flat Slabs aren't too Complicated, and Full Foundations can be done, with Drainage below, Heated Floors, or more.

    You "Flip" the Divider Panels, but then put All The Mid Joining Bolts With Heads on The Same Side and Nuts on the Same Other Side! Not The Hard For The Side with the Nut, to Hold the Bole, AND Undo the Nut! (Pliers, and Needle Nose 90 Degree Pliers, and maybe a Pair of Vise Grips!)
    Maybe - Alternate The Joining Bolts, as well, just like you flip the Panels!! Second Off, Ad a "Cover Panel" Insert, Just to make the Joint less Visible.

    • @TheContainerGuyTV
      @TheContainerGuyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You want the container to be used as a regular 40' cargo container. If you modify it in China or install partition walls, you're on the hook for the $15,000 boat ride plus the price of the container - not worth it. Buy the cans as is. Do the mods locally. Use Container Modification World parts whenever possible 😉

      th-cam.com/video/SCT-GIzo1xM/w-d-xo.html this video shows how difficult it is to work with container doors. It is best to buy DD containers rather than try and make them. Another option is a roll up door on the other end.

    Now put prices, ancillary costs, and various business models (yes, I know rent is variable).
    But, even assuming a modest 100/mo per door on the 4-door unit, this doesn't seem profitable at all. Just a money sink.
