      Great to hear you're enjoying the N70-2 X!
      How have you found the helmet's performance on the highway?

    • @tengis777
      @tengis777 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Championhelmets More streamlined and quieter on the highway compared to my Bell Bullit. And much cooler in traffic because of all the vents.

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tengis777 That does make sense considering the Bullitt's main focus is on style while the N70-2 X is built for touring and adventure riding, which usually sees more noise isolation.

    The sunscreen it worked for two weeks, now I have to put it up. Minus for an otherwise decent helmet.Otherwise, I like it, the gimmick with the removable front is probably mostly a gimmick.Satisfied with my purchase! Comfortable, quiet (compare with LS2 Pioneer) Guess everything is quiet against it;) also a heavenly comfortable helmet and light.New bowl is heavier, no problem for me, as I wears a helmet at work.Despite the defect, I can recommend this helmet, from a convenience perspective, not crashed into it, yet :) so safe, no idea, read on!Stylish, and without screen, damn comfortable! That is a shame about the helmet's sun visor. However, it's good to hear you've enjoyed the rest of N70-2 X so far, and it definitely does well in terms of versatility with a huge number of riding options. Thanks for letting us know how you found the helmet, we appreciate it!
      How have you found the Nolan for ventilation?

    • @jeffdavies688
      @jeffdavies688 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      on the side of the visor switch..you can lubricate the cable that controls the sunvisor.....i used just an extremely slight amount of vegetable oil...applied with a toothpick...you see the cable when you look directly into the helmet.....also check the visor is in properly...and the padding is not touching the visor..

      @@Championhelmets The different possibilities on how to use the helmet. Jet and full face. As I get older I found that I need more air! Then the easy way to remove the visor/peaks and chin bar. Then most importantly the Nolan quality. I have seen the same model available with the emergency braking light. Is it available on this model as an option? Thank you.

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Having all the different options, is definitely helpful, and yes, this helmet does take the Nolan N-Com ESS brake light. Though it is sold separately similar to a communication system

    I own same helmet for 1 year and I'm not satisfied with it. Helnet is too loud, wind protection is so bad, no need for ventilation to open. Ventilation switch cover can come off very easily so you can lose it while putting it in case or smth... Also sunscreen button didn't work well, sometimes it won't come back so i need to stop to move it manually and to make it work somehow. And the peak side screw unmounted at 150kmh and peak blocked my vision. Also zip tie isn't long enough so it happens that it irritates my throat. I would say that it isn't worth it's price.

    • @bittergame3900
      @bittergame3900 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agree. This is the first helmet of the 4 i owned before that I really hated. Way noisier than expected, plus the peak shakes a lot even at lower speeds (like 120 kmh) with plenty of wind protection from the bike (i have a super tenere 1200), making everything vibrate a lot, affecting your vision of the road (shaky) and increasing the impact of the helmet’s weight on your neck. I also agree with the zip tie, too short, very uncomfortable on the throat. Overrated and overpriced.

      @@Championhelmets I just tried it on the other day. It feels more comfortable than other adv helmets that I've tried, especially the non-modular ones. But, I'm a beginner, just searching for mai first helmet now so, what do I know? Also noticed, as it only has 2 sizes of shell, that even the L one makes me look like I have a giant head. I noticed my instructor, also has one of these.

      It definitely is a shame. There are often different graphics options between Europe and the US, but Nolan isn't the only company to do this. Thanks for the comment!

    Can you get replacement liner with thinner cheek pads? Or is it possible to adjust the thickness of the cheek pads that come with the standard liner?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Auldain, thanks for your comment. As with most helmets, it is possible to change the inner lining. Note that with use, the lining on the sides may sag a bit.

    • @Auldain
      @Auldain 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Championhelmets Thanks. I was aware replacement liners are available but my query was specifically regarding the adjustment to the cheek pads. The correct helmet size for me is Medium but I find the cheek pads that come standard, press too strongly on my jaw area. So I need to install thinner pads. Is that possible?

    Is it for adventure tourer aur also for luxury tourer bike like Goldwing ??

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      While the Nolan N70-2 X is meant to bridge both adventure and touring riding, given the feedback we've received on the helmet we'd see it as more of an adventure helmet. For full touring with a Goldwing, we'd go with either the touring version of the helmet, the Nolan N70-2 GT, or something like the Schuberth C4 Pro, which will give you added benefits like better noise isolation and long-distance comfort. Thanks for the question!
      What are your thoughts on the Nolan helmet?

    • @Tajkoreja
      @Tajkoreja 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Champion Helmets yes but Nolan n70x2 is good for both purpose bcz acceroary are removealbe

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Tajkoreja It's correct, the accessories are removable. The only reason the GT version of the helmet may be better is because it is built with touring in mind. Either way both will still be fine, and it's perfectly fine to choose the N70-2X for touring riding.

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There should be no need to size up with the Nolan since it's fairly true to size. However, it's always good to double check and measure your head against the size chart for the helmet.
