    Great choice, I've got the exact same helmet. Had it over 2 years now and I still love it. Used it in heavy rain, very hot weather and 8 hour days touring on the bike, and it has been excellent

    I have a x-tourer and a n70-2x as well. Lol. The sun visor will scratch to hell in a short time, for some reason. Other than that it’s a great lid. Taking the peak off reduces the vibration as well. I have the ncom in mine as well, superb. 👍

      I’m gonna try my screen extender to see if can get rid of the little bit of buffeting

    A very functional helmet, this sounds obvious, but when you reconnect everything I'm sure you'll know that you've gotta make sure that your cables are firmly back in place, you dont wanna do a long vlog/video and find out you've got no sound and/or footage lol. You definitely got it at a great price.
    See you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤟 🤙

      True but my mind is programmed to constantly check wires 😂🙈

    Looks good. How are you going to waterproof the connections?

    • @Motourev
      @Motourev  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I never do and never have, never had any problems with connections in the rain. I just plug them in be ride. The main input is actually into the GoPro but that’s backwards so it tilted upwards so water will only run down and not up the cable. Where the cables connect at the side of the helmet don’t bother me and already used it In the rain. You watch this time I will blow the camera up 😂🙈. To be honest I don’t worry about it and not yet have I had a water problem with cables.

    I bought one and the rubber visor seal on the helmet that runs around the outside of where the visor seals to the helmet is not glued in place properly, I am wondering if I should use super glue to hold it in place?
    I would return it but I have already fitted cardo comms and a camera mount to it before I noticed this problem? I haven't even ridden the bike with this helmet on yet!!
    When you have the helmet torn down to work on you realise there are a lot of movable flimsy parts, not the type of quality I'd be used to by HJC for example,
    but it is versatile and will do a job, I bought it mainly to be able to do some trail riding etc with the chin piece removed,
    this loose rubber visor seal is annoying though and quality seems a bit sub standard tbh.

      Just an update, the rubber seal seems to have settled back in on it's own, I'll see how it goes but I suppose all the handling getting comms fitted etc upset it's fixing to the shell, having said that it's still a flimsy type of seal,
      but anyway I wouldn't want to put anyone off buying this helmet.
      I'm looking forward to using this helmet with the chin piece removed doing slow trail riding or even in urban settings. Thanks mate, that's a great idea how you can remove your camera on the chin piece.

    What am excellent helmet Craig, your costing me a fortune 🤣😂 love the idea of the chin coming off, so handy, I'll have to wait a while to get this however after spending a fortune on pannier racks etc, when I do get it I'll be sure to direct my viewers to your video if your okay with that bud, I'm not doing a review on it as you have done it, did you know Plagiarism is the highest form of flattery 🤣😂

    I’m suss on how that removable chin piece will hold up in a hard impact..?

    • @Motourev
      @Motourev  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree, although it’s passed the standard marks I don’t know what level of impact the standard is set at.

    • @GPR111
      @GPR111 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have same helmet and delighted with it, the chin bar has flexibility so I guess it would have some energy absorption qualities depending on the impact in an accident. It doesnt worry me as it has passed certification as said. Terrific for the money
